One of these hairless girls was adopted, but two and a third all pink girl remain!
Babies coming available in May 2022! Not all will leave… keep an open mind and let them pick you!
Start booking adoption appointments! I’ll have babies available after May 5th! I’ll share videos, but 1. not all of the babies will be available, 2. don’t be set on colors or markings because 3. let them pick you!
GUESS HOW MANY! How many girls fit in a hammock??! Answer in the comments!
Aaaaaand...frosted on Harley! We were super surprised by these little ones! This Harley gene was carried recessively across at least 5 generations and surprised us big time! ♥️
A few months back we got black eyed Siamese and black eyed marten genetics in from a breeder in Tennessee in exchange for some of our original JOSR line, we paired the Siamese doe to Rat Janitor Eric’s black self boy Georgie and found ourselves a little surprise... welcome Frosted to the Josie’s Genetic Menagerie! This gene starts similar to silvermane, they develop silver masking around their nose and eyes and then the silvering stretches all the way across their coat eventually taking over. The coat typically ends with a black base and silver tips, but what makes them different from silvermane is that they slowly lose the mask around their nose and eyes...we managed to pull it both on black self and burmese coat! Look at these beauties!
Batman cuddled and fell asleep while we watched a 90-minute movie tonight. His genealogy goes back to Joules and Claire Bear, our original heart rats.
This is why we breed - to keep this love and peace with us.
We have a fluffy butt! He is a cool hamster and super soft. Please! We really want this guy to have a home with a big tank and wheels and huts!
Hiccup doin a heckin concern about you!
Side by side comparison of little Hiccup and his brother who didn’t develop the genetic illnesses Hiccup has, what a crazy difference!
Quick little Hiccup-date! He’s grown so much and is maintaining his 4 grams every 2 days gain❤️
Just a sweet boy soaking up some momma love♥️ we love our Willard
Here’s a Jewel update!♥️
Editing to add before anyone freaks out-
These wire floors are custom designed to be safe for their feet, we’ve been redesigning and modifying the cage since late 2017 and have been using the half by half double galvanized coated and FDA powder coated floors since 2016 when we began using them in our general population cages. We’ve never had issues with bumble foot or injuries and since we transitioned to wire floors with pull trays we have seen a huge difference in the health of our rats, we are constantly learning and changing to make sure our animals are as happy and healthy as they can possibly be. The shelves usually have fleece covered inserts but these girls in particular love to destroy their fleece immediately so their fleece privileges have been revoked 😂 they’re allowed their hammock and toys and wheel but no shelves😂
3 month old fixed female! Miri. All black except for her white face mask.
*adoption pending*
Here’s a 42 update!
Pardon the cage, he decided it was time to rearrange last night. He’s being monitored and loved very closely by myself(Shelby) and is living in a travel cage on my bed for now for bonding❤️ We’ve discovered due to his rough road he does have a deformed jaw so he may end up needing to stay long term but we will see and reevaluate his progress as time goes on❤️ He’s currently putting on weight and really doing well to fight off that nasty respiratory infection he was developing from the fluid he inhaled when he was in the pool. He loves treats and cuddles, so clearly his faith in humans wasn’t completely destroyed❤️ he’s doing so well and I am loving watching his progress, he’s so bright and alert and even seeks out attention❤️
Just Harrison enjoying a cookie with his theme song playing in the background
