Is your Border Collie interested in herding livestock? Perhaps you've always wanted to learn but never knew where to begin.

Fred Temple, 18-time USBCHA (United States Border Collie Handlers Assoc.) National Finals qualifier, is now accepting clients at all levels of herding experience.

Private and Group lessons are available. Clubs are welcome too.
Fred’s professional training can also travel to your location.

Help develop your dog’s natural herding instincts and create a closer partnership bond. The excitement of livestock herding will exercise your dog's mind and body in a fully-fenced, safe environment. Lesson sheep are provided onsite. Begin in a round pen and work your way to the big field for long, sweeping outruns where your dog will really stretch its legs.

Learn the correct way to use body language, and your vocal and whistle commands.
Instinct evaluations are available.

Temple Border Collies Training Facility is conveniently located near Highway 101 in South Atascadero.

There are a lot of incredible dogs in these bloodlines!
Ettrick Jack, sired by Richard Millichap's Ben (Winner of "One Man and His Dog), was owned and trained by Fred Temple. Jack qualified 9 years in a row for the USBCHA National Finals, won numerous trials, and produced many successful trialing and working dogs. This includes Donna Shaw's "Buster", who was shown at the world trial; Don Helsley's "Hap"; Jean Singer's "Finn"; Fred Temple's "Dan"; and Judy Loflin's "Cord", just to name a few!
Some of the champions in the puppies' bloodlines include Suzy Applegate's Hap, Millichap's Ben, Macrae's Imp. "Nap", Aled Owen's "Bob" and "Roy", Kevin Evans' "Jimmy" and "Mirk", Jones' BWLCH "Taff", Thomas' "Craig", and Bobby Dalziels' "Spot", "Joe" and "Wisp".
This litter is sired by TBC's "Dan" (son of Ettrick Jack) and out of TBC's Remmi (see both of their ABCA papers in photos).
