Vito (formerly John Jay) is one of seven beagles that were rescued from a DC test facility by the Beagle Freedom Group in July 2013. He spent the first four years of his left in a cage being used as a test subject. He was lovingly fostered by Kat Novak and adopted by his new family on August 31, 2013. Vito currently lives in PA with his two beagle siblings.
