Cooper is 1.5 years and does not realize his size! He is very sweet and friendly but because he is big and clumsy, we do not recommend that he live with small children. Cooper loves dogs. He has lived with both big and small dogs and is playful and sweet with both. There are times that he forgets his size and may play too rough with smaller dogs but there isn’t an aggressive bone in his body. Cooper is in a foster home with a cat, and he does not seem to have any issues with his feline housemate.

Storm is a 2 year old big blue neutered and gastropexied male Dane with natural ears. Storm was given up because he is a big strong boy with the energy of a young Dane and too much for his owners to handle. Storm LOVES people, he is happy to meet anyone, male or female and is all wags and kisses. Storm loves to play and will empty his toy box playing with each and every one of them. Storm was living with another neutered male Dane but they did have a few issues over food, but nothing else. He takes treats very nicely. He is house and crate trained and not destructive. He loves car rides and does well in the car.
Storm has a very high prey drive and is difficult to walk on a leash since he is so strong. Storm was in foster care and was loving and sweet with his foster mom. He is getting the training he needs so he can be controlled more easily when on leash. He will not be placed with another dog or small animals. He needs a family looking for someone to cuddle because he is so affectionate, someone experienced with giant breeds, with a large fenced yard for exercise. He is in training with a professional trainer who will continue to work with whoever adopts him to be sure to maintain his manners on a leash.

Hi ! I’m L J – I was too young when they named me, so I’m not really sure what L J stands for. I’m a 4 year old Mantle (they say I’m a very handsome big boy). Recently, I led a pretty slow-paced life on a big, quiet farm. I do love walks and car rides. No hikes yet, but I might be persuaded. I used to be a rather heavy boy… ok maybe even too heavy (over 160), but I’m getting down to the right weight of 150-155 lbs. With my long 45-60 min walks 2-3 times a day, I’m shedding the fat and putting on some solid muscle. No running around except for infrequent zoomies, and I don’t play with any toys, balls, sticks, or stuffed animals – that’s just childish. But I do like the occasional yummy bone.

UPDATE: He has been living in a kennel with Hanlons K9 training for months now, he has come so far with his training, he is loved by the trainers there. No one has gone to meet him, it is baffling. All he needs is a loving family with a fenced yard for him to run. He will return the love tenfold!

Ranger is an active, fun loving 5-year-old heavy carbon fawn boy who’s looking for a Buddy. Here’s the deet sheet on this devastatingly handsome fella:
He may be 5, but he is ready for your adventures! He thrives on being a part of whatever you do. Trips to TSC or Lowes? A back yard BBQ with your buddies? Little trip down to the river to splash around? Count him IN! Walks, trails, new experiences? He’s so there for it. Road trips? Yeah buddy! – he’s a great traveling companion.
He can also vibe with being more low-key too. His foster mom has a disability that flares and severely restricts her activity sometimes, but “going through the paces” of his obedience training, tossing a toy around a little, or giving him a tasty bone will satisfy him quite well.
