Teacup was found in the Lethbridge area where unfortunately all of their siblings and mama had passed away at a work site.
Mama Cass welcomed Teacup with open paws and they have already started gaining weight and growing!

Stories like Tess’ remind us of the importance of foster homes in rescue…. 🏠
Because someone said yes to fostering Tess last year, we were able to take her from a state of unbearable pain and discomfort and provide her with the medical care she so desperately needed and deserved.
The bottom photos were of Tess upon rescue.
The top left was after a month of being fostered and given all the medical care she needed.
The last video is Tess today thriving and living her best life 💚

It is with Great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved Animal Lover, Gil Pike.
Gil was an active volunteer with numerous animal rescues, including pause4change, and was involved in the Vulcan 16 intake and Mameo beach. He later adopted Smiley from the Vulcan 16 intake.
Gil will be remembered as the man with a big smile on his face, someone the dogs loved, for his jokes, and his big cowboy hats.

Midas can be a bit cautious and observant at first but doesn’t take long to check out the new surroundings or people! He is very quiet and so so calm.
Midas loves to play with his foster siblings but also if content to go exploring on his own. He enjoys being outside but just as happy in the house.
Midas would benefit from having a sibling to play with and show him the world. He is working on potty training but has gotten the concept.
Midas is very smart and loves to shake a paw and eager to learn new things.

Our sweet Vasco is in need of a New Foster Home or ideally an adopter to give him his forever home 🐾💚 His current foster graciously took him in as an emergency placement foster and we need to move him by Friday at the latest! A little bit about Vasco: Vasco is great with other dogs in the house and loves to play off leash in an enclosed environment (he is still working on his recall). He needs a home who is active and makes sure to meet all of his physical exercise and enrichment needs! He is working on some reactivity on leash as dogs and people are very exciting but anyone who takes him as a foster or adopts him will be given support by our training team to help Vasco learn to be neutral on leash. Vasco would thrive in an environment like a farm or with a family who enjoys hiking and exploring! He is great with kids however is a little excitable and thinks that running means a fun game so we suggest kids who are a little bit older in the home.
