Young Veterinary Clinic is hiring a full time veterinary receptionist/assistant four days a week (7:30-5:15) and every third Saturday 7:30 - 12:00pm The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional customer service skills and enjoy helping both clients and animals alike. They will have superb phone etiquette, record keeping and computer skills as well as accounts receivable experience. If you are a team player, mature, have attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast paced, multi tasking environment we would love to meet with you. Applicants must be able to assist the veterinarians in various duties in the clinic and assist clients and pets while they are in the clinic. Duties include answering the phone, intaking patients for appointments, helping with treatment of small animals in the clinic, transporting animals 40+ pounds, walking and caring for dogs and cats in the kennel facility. This is obviously a very diverse job with the opportunity to work alongside a veterinarian in a highly interesting environment. Applicants must be able to tolerate medical procedures being performed on all species of animals.
