Have you always had a passion for working with and helping animals in need?
Young Veterinary Clinic is hiring a full time veterinary receptionist/assistant four days a week (7:30-5:15) and every third Saturday 7:30 - 12:00pm The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional customer service skills and enjoy helping both clients and animals alike. They will have superb phone etiquette, record keeping and computer skills as well as accounts receivable experience. If you are a team player, mature, have attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast paced, multi tasking environment we would love to meet with you. Applicants must be able to assist the veterinarians in various duties in the clinic and assist clients and pets while they are in the clinic. Duties include answering the phone, intaking patients for appointments, helping with treatment of small animals in the clinic, transporting animals 40+ pounds, walking and caring for dogs and cats in the kennel facility. This is obviously a very diverse job with the opportunity to work alongside a veterinarian in a highly interesting environment. Applicants must be able to tolerate medical procedures being performed on all species of animals. We are trying to find the owner of the puppy pictured below. It was found on LIV 235 (the back road to Wal-Mart). The dog is safe and being kept warm but it is urgent we find the owners.

We will be closed tomorrow 11/23/2023 for Thanksgiving. As always, our lines will be available from 8am-10pm for emergencies. We are so thankful for each and everyone of our clients and want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.

A client of ours is looking to rehome this sweet girl. Her name is Xena, she a Anatolian mix. She is 18m old, spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines.

Xena likes;
other dogs, goats, sheep, kids, and people

Xena is known to dig and wander off, but typically
comes right back

she does not like;
chickens, cats, or loud noises (fireworks, guns, etc.)

She is very timid at first but warms up quickly. If you are interested in Xena, PM us. 😊

Does anyone recognize the woman in front of the counter bringing in a dog. We cannot contact the owner of this pet as the information she gave at drop off is false. We would like to reunite her with her dog if at all possible. Please direct message us if you recognize her.
