Meet Blackberry, the sweetest mini rex/lop bunny you’ll ever meet! 🖤 With his soft, velvety fur and those adorable lop ears, he’s practically irresistible. Blackberry is an inquisitive little explorer, always curious about what’s around him and ready to make new discoveries. Blackberry is such a curious rabbit and is very nosey when you come home from the grocery store. Be sure to not leave yummy fruits or treats in their bags on the ground, because Blackberry will be trying to eat them in no time! Blackberry also really likes to run, hide, and play in tunnels. He is very fond of tunnels to hide and sneak when he pops his head out to say hello!

Blackberry is a free-roaming, litter trained rabbit. He has always had full access to the home and has a hidden litter box where he eats his hay. Blackberry can jump quite high, and he likes to sleep and hide in the corner of the house or behind the couch. Basic bunny proofing is advised but Blackberry is not prone to typical destructive behaviors. Cords, of course, should be protected as these are irresistible to most bunnies.

Blackberry does well with cats, polite dogs, and children. Slow introductions are always needed with bunnies, but he warms up easily once he feels comfortable. We think Blackberry could make a good husband for a lady bunny, but he has not been bonded yet. He is neutered and vaccinated for RHDV2 and ready to hop into your home and heart.

Meet Bramble and Bene, two sweet bonded sisters who are looking for a quiet, patient home where they can continue to grow and thrive. These 6-month-old bunnies are a little shy, but their curiosity—especially when it comes to treats—always shines through!

Bene is the more social of the two, gradually becoming more comfortable with being petted. She’ll hunker down to let you know she’s ready for some attention, and once you start, she loves having her head, ears, and back gently rubbed. Bene even enjoys a relaxing back massage, especially around the lower back where she can sometimes feel a little tightness. She’s still not a fan of being picked up, but with a gentle approach, she’ll tolerate it.

Bramble, on the other hand, is more reserved and prefers to investigate people from a distance. If you’re sitting quietly on the floor, she may cautiously approach to see what you’re up to—especially if there’s food involved! While she’s not a big fan of pets, if you offer her a tasty treat, she might let you sneak a few gentle scritches on her head and neck.

Both girls are energetic and love zooming around when they’re in the mood, but when they’re feeling relaxed and cozy, you might catch Bene making adorable "honking" sounds. And don’t be surprised if they suddenly flop over dramatically—it’s their way of showing you just how content they are.

Both girls are spayed and vaccinated for RHDV2 and in great health. They are still young bunnies and are busy and need lots of enrichment to keep them occupied - bunny-proofing and lots of interaction will ensure these girls don’t get bored and destructive.

Cosmos is excited about our upcoming silent auction! Bid on things from beautiful art pieces to local Portland experiences like Hopscotch and the Portland Japanese Garden. All proceeds go directly to supporting the rabbits in our care that are patiently waiting for their furever homes and to help expand our capacity to take in more rabbits in need in the future. La-la-la-la Lola wants to hear all your stories, watch all your favorite shows, and sit next to you on the couch while you read. Friendly and affectionate, Lola likes to be pet for hours. If you stop, she’ll boop you to remind you to keep nuzzling her cute face, feeling her soft ears, and giving her the full-body massages she adores. Lola just wants to be loved by her favorite humans and to give love in return.

Lola has embraced the good life and likes to dive into piles of oat hay. Her litter box skills are impeccable, and she is gaga for Science Selective grain-free pellets and loops, fresh greens, and fresh apple and pear branches. She is fine with respectful children, and even got along with her rescuer’s polite, supervised toddler. Lola can also get along with well-behaved house pets like bunny-friendly cats and calm dogs who don’t bark incessantly. It seems like Lola would prefer to be a solo bunny for a while, although she might be open to dating a husbun candidate in the future. For now, get this gal a ramp to climb up and she will probably sleep in your bed with you, or at least sprawl out luxuriously beneath it.

Estimated to be 3-4 years old, Lola lived in a tiny 2.5ft x 1.5ft outdoor hutch behind a house that was well-known to the neighborhood for illegal activity and addiction. Her original owner threatened to let her loose in the backyard, use her as a target for shooting practice, and then eat her. A house full of adults left her locked in a box and fed her once or twice per week. She was starving for both food and attention.

Lola was rescued by someone staying nearby, a woman who decided enough was enough, and that Lola would suffer no more. After her ordeals, it’s wonderful that Lola is in such good health. Lola currently weighs 7.5 lbs and is still building muscle and growing into her dewlap as she heads toward a goal weight of about 8 lbs. Careless neglect and cruelty could not sink Lola’s body or spirit. She has triumphed. Lola is an inspiration.

Meet Tootsie, a gorgeous glossy bunny with a heart full of energy and a playful spirit! Tootsie is the embodiment of fun, vivaciousness, and youthful enthusiasm. This athletic little bunny loves to hop, jump, and explore her surroundings, always on the move and ready for adventure. Tootsie loves to show off her speed with zoomies in the morning and performance of Binkie’s By Tootsie in the evenings. Tootsie is always full of life and excitement.

Her glossy fur shines with health and vitality, and her curiosity knows no bounds. Tootsie would thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and love. She's looking for a family who can keep up with her energetic nature and provide her with lots of fun activities and bunny-proof spaces to explore. She gets along great with polite cats and dogs. She is very interested in being best mates with her foster provider’s dog so she could be a good contender for bonding with a handsome suitor.

Join us for a Valentine’s Day & St. Patrick’s Day photo shoot! Donate $75 for 6 high-resolution professionally edited photos for rabbits, guinea pigs, and their humans and help raise money to help bunnies!

Come and meet us, and each other! This is an informal open discussion where you can learn more about the organization, how to get involved, our goals, as well as an opportunity to share feedback about what will be most useful for the community. Light refreshments will be served.

Rabbits fully vaccinated against RHDV2 in carriers or strollers and are comfortable with travel are welcomed, but we encourage people to let their bunnies stay home if traveling stresses them out.
