Say hello to Bobby and Hachiko! An adorable bonded pair looking for their forever home! Bobby is the beautiful Harlequin female bun of this duo - she is estimated to be 4/5 years old. Hachiko is the adorable male mini lop, estimated to be 3/4 years old. They are spayed/neutered and vaccinated for RHDV2. Hachiko was adopted and bonded to Bobby and recently they found their way back to RA as their person was moving to a foreign country. These are lovely sweet bunnies who make wonderful companions. They are not big chewers or overly destructive, but cords should be protected as they have been known to take a nibble. They are wonderful free roamers with bun proofing but also like to have their own home base to retreat to during nap time. They both do okay being held but only for short periods. Like most bonded pairs, they do give each other confidence to be brave buns and do great with polite cats. They would also do well with polite children that understand them on their terms. Meet Oreo, an adorable black and white mini rex rabbit with a heart as soft as his velvety fur! Oreo is kind, gentle, and incredibly sweet, making him the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm and loving pet. Heâs not destructive, so you donât have to worry about him chewing on your furniture or belongings. Heâs full of personality and will warm your heart with his affectionate nature when you sit down on the floor level he will reward you with kisses and unlimited pets of his soft fur. Oreo does have some special needs, so heâs looking for a family who can provide the extra care and attention he deserves. Despite this, heâs a happy little guy who will bring so much joy to the right home. Due to his special needs we are seeking a long term sanctuary foster home for him, this will be discussed further during the interview process. Oreo does great with polite cats but would not do best with dogs or small children. At this time, Oreo could be a contender for bonding depending on some circumstances for his special needs. Oreo has been in foster care since February of 2024 after being rescued by a good samaritan, he is neutered and vaccinated for RHDV2. Please hop over to www.rabbitadvocate.org/foster to fill out a foster application for the sweetest lil cookie, Oreo!

Rabbit Advocates started out as a group of volunteers passionate about rabbits before becoming our own official organization in 2002! Thatâs 22 years of promoting the welfare of domestic rabbits đ
2023 brought us many mom buns and babies! Abandoning pets is a crime, but a sadly common phenomenon, and we wouldnât be able to help all the rabbits that we have been able to without all our volunteers and foster families đ
2023 brought us many mom buns and babies! Violet, Skylark, and Lilly were rescued with 6 male buns and immediately gave birth within days of rescue. 9 buns became 24 in a matter of days! Their rescue angels Darcy and her mom worked with RA and Multnomah County Animal Services over the course of months while we made placement for all of these buns. This was our largest intake in RA history. After the first 9 were rescued, we received more stray reports of additional bunnies in the same area. We estimate that someone dumped upwards of 20+ rabbits at one time. They were all in terrible shape - malnourished, pee stained, torn ears and sore hocks. Abandoning pets is a crime, but a sadly common phenomenon, and we wouldnât be able to help all the rabbits that we have been able to without all our volunteers and foster families đ
Special thanks to Dr. Frey, our volunteers, and those who paid it forwardâwe couldnât have had this important event without you! đ°đ
Congrats to Lorenzo on his adoption and marriage to Rabbit Advocates alum Marzipan! đ„°đ°
