I have these 3 cute little 5-6 weeks old boys with me in Rhome looking for a home! They have literally never been handled but I hope you can tell from this video that while they are a little scared and unsure of their new environment, they are easy to pick up and will be sweet as can be with a little love. ♥ And look at those dumbo ears!

Update on Wolfgang ❤️ Mites are gone (thank you, Revolution!) but his breathing is still pretty rough. I brewed him some rooibos tea today, he had a nebulizer treatment, and he got his medicine. Fingers crossed for this sweetheart!

Just in time! These cuties were rescued from having to spend the next few days outside. ❄️🥶😥 The albino is a female and bw hooded is a male. Both look around 3-4 months old. I will be keeping an eye on the female for signs of pregnancy, but the little fella seems happy and healthy so I’d love to get him into a new home with some friends soon. 😊

My major summer project is coming to a close. Since January 2018, when I started this rescue, the ratties stayed in my house in a spare room. Now that we’ve moved, I really wanted the rats to have their own space. I saved up, got a good deal on a shed, and started looking for contractors to finish it out. This ended up being way more than I could afford, so I bought the materials and my amazing dad offered to help me out. He’s been driving over an hour one way to help me finish out this shed over the past several weeks. It was a ton of work - and hot! - but we finished just in time to welcome 63 new surrenders last night (pics coming soon)! I still have a lot of work to do on it to make it nice, but when it’s done it will be wonderful. Now I have somewhere for potential adopters to meet all the ratties and they have room to run around for supervised play time. The major bonus is that I can now take in more surrenders!
