Thank you to Westminster & Thornton Animal Control & Management for not only being the ones to catch Duke, but for being so diligent in his whereabouts. He was found at the daycare facility behind the 120th bus station.

Thank you to all of my friends, family, and community for helping me find Duke, sharing my updates, coming with me to hang flyers, for giving me strength and being with me in the sorrow of losing him for these 6 long days.

We are going to focus on aftercare now...resting and taking care of his raw pads and getting him a more secure collar & harness with leash attachments on both. We are both so relieved and happy to be back together. Oh, Mr. Duke. You are so loved, cared for, and we are all so happy to know you are safe, unharmed, and back HOME!"

This is Duke. He was rescued just two days ago. I was walking him when I got from work and a reactive dog lunged at him causing him to escape his harness out of fear and ran away. He was last seen running South towards 120th and Melody Dr. He isn't aggressive, but extremely shy, kiddish, and cautious of strangers and other animals and loud noises...

if anyone can please report any sightings or ends up finding him...in these two short days I've noticed he enjoys cheese and chicken as high-reward treats.

Sharpei went missing December 31st in Plantation, FL off NW 27 Ct & Old Hiatus Rd. Sharpei is a 1 year old, male, brown, Shar Pei weighing 55 lbs. Sharpei is a friendly guy but he went missing from an Air B & B while on vacation from Canada. Sharpei was on a walk with his owners when a firework went off, he backed out of his collar and took off running. Sharpei does not have ID on since he backed out of his collar, and he is not yet microchipped. Sharpei’s family is absolutely devastated, please call with any possible leads. There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to Sharpei’s safe return, thank you all.
