Man's Best Friend About Man's Best Friend Man's Best Friend was founded in July 1980, in Houston, Texas by the Bolander family.

Their vision was to offer dog owners a unique dog-training center, providing personal assistance to each customer. Obedience, behavioral problem solving, and personal and family protection services were now available in a private environment, with programs designed to fit each customers' specific goals. Since then we have expanded to the Dallas Metroplex and Greater Atlanta

Our little Elf named Amarrisa is handcrafting paw print ornaments which we are calling "Pawn-r-ments". We have a few of her latest creations in the picture below. Good times were had by all, and we can't wait to see all of you again at Christmas. Man's Best Friend will be closed on Thursday to observe Thanksgiving with their family. We have staff here to provide care for our furry friends and to hand out Thanksgiving dinners to all those who chose to participate, but the lobby will be closed for drop-offs and pick-ups. We hope you all have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. And remember watch your pets around unguarded Turkeys and trimmings.
