Maddy joined Luna’s Canine Academy today to begin her behavioral modification program.

Maddy is learning how to walk better on the leash, remain calm during feeding time, come when called, and control her barking.

🐶There will be a session this evening at 6:30pm outside of the Aris Dog Park 2520 Wise Rd, North Canton. This will be a great distraction session for any dogs that are currently in training or have finished a training program🐾

For two years (most of her life) Georgia hasn’t been able to walk past another dog without barking, lunging, and pulling her owner on the leash. Today we worked at the park and had the help of Luna to work on calming Georgia down around other dogs and people. After only a few short minutes Georgia was able to happily walk past Luna and ignore the other walkers on the path.

Meli had her first Behavioral Modification session today. As you can see in the beginning of the video Meli is pulling on the leash and barking non stop. This pulling and barking would last their entire walk, making the walks miserable.

The second video is Meli after just one training session. If you’re not enjoying your walks with your dogs then you should give me a call.

Xumi and Lula are 9 month old Bernadoodle littermates who are as fun loving and excitable as can be. They love people so much that they spend a majority of their time jumping on guests, pawing for attention, mouthing, pulling on the leash to greet others, and running rampant through the house.

Today they started their Dream Dog program and crushed their first session! I am so excited to get to work these two beautiful dogs and help their owners create an amazing life for them.

Georgia is a 2 year old border collie mix who her owners rescued from a high kill shelter around 10 months of age. For the last year Georgia has not been able to meet a new human, due to her owners fear that she may bite someone.

Last week I had a consultation with Georgia and her owner, where I discovered that Georgia wasn’t “aggressive”, she was extremely fearful.

For the last year Georgia had to be crated or boarded when anyone would come to the house to ensure she wouldn’t bite someone. Walks around her allotment were miserable for her owners, every person that walked within eyesight would cause Georgia to pull, bark, and lunge on her leash.

Today was Georgia’s very first Behavioral Modification training session to help build her confidence, correct her unwanted behaviors, and give her a better quality of life.

If you are a current client who has sessions available the training is free.

If you are a previous client, the cost is $35.

It was an Aussie day 💙🐕

I picked Rowan and Ruby up for day training today. We worked on sharpening up commands, distraction training, and of course some socialization with Miss Luna.

Group Training Session🐶

There will be a group training session for any past or current clients. If you have training sessions left, the class is free. If you have finished a training program the class will be $35 (discounted this month 😄).

The session will take place at Price Park on Tuesday July 16th from 6pm until 7pm.

Please bring with you your training equipment (prong collar, e-collar, long line), something to use as a spot, treats, and p**p bags.
