We Need YOU! Cat Fosters Urgently Needed - Starting June 24th! đŸ±

The demand for rescue hasn’t slowed, but adoptions have, leaving us with a critical need for foster homes. Starting Tuesday, June 24th, we need your help!

Why Foster?

đŸ©·A home is always better than a shelter.
đŸ©·Short-term fosters are invaluable. Even a few days makes a huge difference!
đŸ©·You provide comfort and safety while they await adoption.

Yep, it’s us again—back with more Sugar! If you’ve been following along, you’ve definitely met this sweet but sensitive gal before, but her foster mom just sent over some brand new photos and we simply could not wait another second to share them. đŸ€©

Here’s a quick refresher on our girl:
✹ Around 8 years old, but has the energy of a much younger dog
✹ Approximately 60 lbs of love
✹ Wants to be your one and only pup
✹ Has previous cat experience!
✹ Needs a quiet home in the ‘burbs (fenced yard = big bonus)
✹ Can be reactive to cars, dogs, and other walk-by distractions but has been working on this and doing well!

Sugar is being fostered locally in Massachusetts and she’s SO ready to find her people. Let’s help this girly go from “house guest” to “home sweet home!” 👉 browndogcoalition.com/adoption

We truly thought Tina would be scooped up within days of arriving in Massachusetts back in April. She’s four years old, 12 lbs of pure spunky charm, and cute as a button. But here we are, two months later, scratching our heads and wondering how this sweet girl is still searching for a family of her very own. đŸ€·â€â™€ïž

She can be a little shy in new situations, but once she trusts you, she’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and full of personality. She lives for her daily walkies and is ready to accompany you on your summer adventures—bonus points if they include toy shopping. 😉

Tina prefers the ladies, would love a quiet home with limited foot traffic, and could live with respectful kiddos or other small dogs—as long as everyone will understand that Tina’s prized possessions are hers and hers alone. Experience with resource guarding? Even better!

This girly has been waiting FAR too long to find a home of her very own. đŸ„ș We know her family is out there somewhere—someone who is ready to love her forever and help her feel safe, seen, and settled. If that sounds like YOU, please submit our adoption app today: browndogcoalition.com/adoption

And if you’re not in a position to adopt, sharing this post helps more than you know! đŸ“Č

Introducing Raisin: 17 lbs of fully grown, pint-sized power and absolutely zero surprise growth spurts. What you see is what you get—and what you get is a zippy little dude with legs like springs and a seriously charming underbite. 😍

At about 5 years old, Raisin is technically an adult
but don’t let that fool you. He missed out on some key life experiences, so he’s basically doing a crash course in “How to Dog 101.” He’s working hard on house training and leash walking, but he’ll need a patient adopter who’s ready to keep the lessons going—with lots of treats, please and thank you! đŸȘ

He’s an active, bouncy guy who would thrive in a home that keeps both his body and brain busy. Boring couch potato life? Not for him. Netflix marathons? Only after a long walk and some puzzle toys! 🧠

Raisin’s ideal home?
🛑 No kids‹🛑 No other pets‹✅ All eyes on Raisin

If Raisin sounds like the petite pal you’ve been searching for, submit the adoption app on our website today! 👉 browndogcoalition.com/adoption

Paging Dr. Adorable—we mean adoptable Doc! 😉

This 23 lb. floppy-eared heartthrob is about 4 years old and possibly part Cocker Spaniel, but definitely part professional yard sniffer. 🐕

After being picked up as a stray, he’s been living his best life in a southern foster home where he’s absolutely crushing his house training, crate training, and leash walking. đŸ’Ș His foster says he’s handsome (truth), non-destructive (bonus), and hasn’t had a single accident inside since she began to foster him.

Based on his personality, we believe Doc would do best as your one and only pup, and he’s approved for families with kiddos 5+. He hasn’t met any cats yet, so we can’t say how he would do in a feline-friendly house. 🏠

He’s arriving in Dartmouth, MA next week 🚐 and will be ready to go home with a lucky pre-approved adopter on Friday, June 27! Don’t miss your shot to add this perfect prescription of cute and cuddly to your life.

Take the first step by completing the adoption app on our website! âžĄïž browndogcoalition.com/adoption

You won't believe the journey this amazing mom, Bloomy, and her sweet son, Dale, have been on! This isn't just any rescue story – it's a tale of a brave mama cat who, when things got tough on the streets of Boca Raton, found an unlikely safe haven for her babies: a Bloomingdale's trailer! đŸ›ïž Yes, you read that right! Thanks to a kind Good Samaritan and a "herculean task" to get permission, this family was rescued, and the rest is history!

Meet the Stars:

⭐Bloomy (Mom): A "super duper, uber-friendly, happy-go-lucky girl" who loves everyone she meets! She's a doting mama who did everything to protect her babies. While she's great with adults and kids, she's a bit scared of dogs, so a dog-free home would be best for her.
⭐Dale (Son): Playful, charming, and a loyal mama's boy! He and his siblings were cleverly named Bloo, Ming, and Dale (get it? Bloomingdale! 😉). Dale loves to eat and is ready to bring joy to any family.

This inseparable pair plays all the time and are both wonderful with adults and kids. They've been through so much together and now dream of a forever home where they can continue their happy-go-lucky lives, filling your days with purrs, play, and endless affection.

Are you ready to welcome this truly special mom-and-son duo into your heart and home? Give them the happy ending they deserve!

Meet Lucas! 💙

This sweet 8-month-old, 25-lb pup was found as a stray and ended up with one of our southern partners, scared and unsure of the world. But thanks to a foster home that gave him time, patience, and lots of TLC, Lucas has gone from a pup who flinched at a human touch to one who now lives for belly rubs and back massages. đŸ„č

Thanks to our foster-based rescue model, dogs like Lucas learn what it means to be loved, to play, to trust, and to just be a dog again. By the time they arrive in Massachusetts, we know their quirks, their favorite toys, and what kind of home they’ll thrive in—because someone has already gotten to know them like family. đŸ«¶

Lucas is a great match for homes with other pups and/or dog-savvy kiddos. He’s not suited for apartment living and will benefit from a fenced-in yard as he continues growing his confidence and leash skills. 🏠

He arrives in MA next week and is looking for a forever (or foster!) home starting Friday, June 27. If you’re ready to open your heart and your home, Lucas is ready to love you right back. đŸ™‹â€â™‚ïž

FOSTER FOUND! đŸ„ł

We hate to be dramatic, but we’re running out of hope over here because Girly Girl is still stuck in boarding. 💔

She’s not even a year old—just 10 months!—and only 45 lbs of sensitive, floppy-eared sweetness. And yet, she’s living 24/7 in a loud, scary kennel. đŸ„ș Boarding is tough on any dog, but for one this young and unsure of what’s happening, it’s especially hard. She’s scared, confused, and desperately needs the comfort of a real home.

Yes, Girly struggles with being left alone right now, but let’s be honest—who doesn’t want constant attention and endless tail wags in 2025? 😉 And the good news? Our rescue isn’t just handing you a dog and waving goodbye—we’ve got training help ready to go and a whole team of humans rooting for both you and Girly.

She didn’t show signs of separation anxiety in her southern foster home, and we’re hoping once she decompresses, she’ll get back to her happy, confident self. Girly has done well with other playful dogs her size in the past but has shown some resource guarding recently—understandable given all the upheaval she’s experienced! She would really benefit from a fenced yard and a consistent routine. Her previous family said she lived peacefully with cats, and she’d love dog-savvy kids to hang out with, too, if you happen to have any small humans at home. 🏡

We hate the idea of her spending even one more night in boarding. 😭 If your home might be the safe haven she needs, please reach out ASAP! 📧[email protected]

Not able to foster? Sharing this post can still make a world of difference! đŸ“Č

Can you believe these faces were returned? 💔 Meet Reese and Ike, two unbelievably handsome brothers who, after being loved since kittens, found themselves back in foster care. Their previous family wanted kittens... but their loss is your gain, because these stunning, super friendly boys are ready to find a true forever home where they'll be cherished always!

Ike is the confident, outgoing explorer, while sweet Reese looks to his brother for reassurance, making them the most adorable, perfectly balanced duo. They'll rub against you for attention, melting your heart with every gentle purr.

Imagine coming home to these floofy, gentle giants who are not only amazing with other cats but also adore young children! Their easy-going nature suggests they'd likely charm dogs too. They're absolutely thriving in their foster home, making friends with everyone. Who wouldn't want these sweet, cuddly partners filling their life with warmth and purrs? Don't let these best boys get overlooked again!

Say hello to Baylee—our one-eyed sweetheart with a heart of gold and a tail that never stops wagging! đŸ«¶

This girly is around 4 years old, just under 50 lbs, and has been through a lot lately but you’d never guess it based on her joyful, lovable personality. She came into one of our southern shelter partners after testing positive for heartworm 💔 and already blind in one eye. But don’t worry—this girl is a survivor through and through!

She’s now fully treated (bye, heartworms 👋), and the one-eye thing? Barely worth mentioning. She doesn’t need any special accommodations
unless you count belly rubs and compliments as “special. 😉

In her foster home down south, Baylee’s been working hard on her house and crate training, and doing great! Leash walking is still a work in progress
mostly because she’s so excited to say hi to everyone she meets. đŸ„č She’s never met a stranger—just future best friends.

Baylee is a good match for households with or without kiddos and/or other playful pups but cats are TBD. 🏡

She arrives in Massachusetts next week and is hoping someone will be ready to welcome her home (foster or forever!) starting Friday, June 27. đŸ—“ïž

Will you be the lucky one she’s been waiting for? 👉 browndogcoalition.com
