We’re desperately hoping to find him a foster—or even better, an adopter!—so he doesn’t have to watch all his transport buddies head off to warm, cozy homes while he’s left behind in boarding. 💔
His story is one we’ve seen too many times: saved in the nick of time from a southern high-kill shelter where his future looked bleak. Life hasn’t always been kind to this gentle soul—he’s got an old leg injury that healed a bit wonky, leaving him with a limp. But don’t let that fool you! Hershey is resilient, sweet, and perfectly capable of joining you for leisurely strolls and all the dog-friendly adventures your heart desires. 🐾
At just 2 years old and a healthy 50 lbs, Hershey is the perfect mix of young and fun without the chaos of puppy antics. He’s spent the last few months in his southern foster home living with a variety of dogs and has shown he’s happiest around large, playful pups—and sometimes little ones too, as long as they aren’t yippy! He hasn’t met any kiddos yet, but his southern foster believes older, dog-savvy kids would be a great match. ✅
Cats, however, are a no-go for this guy. 🙅♂️

A litter of small-breed puppies and their sweet mama, Sweetie Pie, have been growing up in a loving foster home, and they’re FINALLY ready to start their search for forever families! These 4 adorable cutie pies—and their mama!—will each be ready to go to an individual home on Sunday, September 1st! 🐾
4 year old Sweetie Pie is all of 11 lbs and while we don’t know who the dad was, these 8-week-old pups are only clocking in at 3-4 lbs a piece which means we can make some educated guesses that they are going to stay on the smaller side once fully grown. Just like their mama! 🧡
Each of their future families should remember that puppy training classes with a certified positive reinforcement trainer are a MUST for these little ones—and mama could use some ongoing training support too. 💪 Let’s make sure these pups grow up to be the best versions of themselves!
All five of these adorable pooches will thrive in dog-friendly households with other pups or dog-savvy kids over the age of 5. They haven’t had any kitty exposure, so we can’t say for sure how they’ll do with feline friends.

Look at our girl Julia! 🤩
This sweet 10 month old, 25 lb. adoptable pup recently learned how to swim in her foster’s pool and we can’t stop watching this video on repeat. She’s already a pro!
You might not know it from watching this exciting moment, but when we first met Julia earlier this year, she was very shy and unsure about the world around her. 🥺 Thanks to the support she’s received from her amazing foster family, Julia has thrived and blossomed into a more confident, brave dog.🫶
