At just 6 lbs and around 2 years old, Houdini is the definition of “fun-sized” perfection! 🤩

Don’t worry—this tiny trickster’s magic act involves stealing hearts, not disappearing acts. Well, unless your fence has holes…then p**f! He might just vanish! Consider this your friendly PSA: he’s that small. 😉

In his southern foster home, Houdini worked hard perfecting his life skills, like house training, crate training, leash walking—the whole shebang! He’s making great progress and with a little more practice (and a lot of treats), he’ll be a total pro in no time. 🏆

This pint-sized pup is cool with other small dogs, cats, and gentle kiddos 5+, but he’s a total softie who lives for human snuggles. He’s basically a 6-lb fuzzy shadow who believes personal space is a myth. 💙

The rescue express is officially en route to New England! Yesterday, a fresh batch of adorable dogs and cats said goodbye to their amazing southern foster homes and hit the road toward their brand new lives up north. 🚐

We’re talking seniors, puppies, kitties, and everything in between. Basically a whole smorgasbord of sweetness rolling straight into Massachusetts! 👏

Penelope is packing her bags and hittin’ the road from Alabama today—but there’s one tiny problem…she doesn’t have a home waiting for her in Massachusetts. 😭 Are we really going to let this sweet girl sit in boarding while all her transport buddies trot off to loving homes on Friday? Say it ain’t so!

At just 7 months old and 38 lbs, Penelope is pure puppy love wrapped in fur. She’s lived with playful dogs, dog-savvy cats, and kiddos—truly the trifecta of family-friendly. She’s been hard at work mastering her life skills like house training, leash walking, and charming everyone she meets. 🧡

This happy-go-lucky gal just needs a soft place to land starting Friday, October 24. Even a short-term foster would make all the difference! 🙏

Poor Lacy. 💔 We seriously can’t believe this girl is still waiting for her forever fam! This 3-year-old, 40 lb cutie has everything going for her—she’s sweet, playful, and absolutely obsessed with people! But we can’t help but think she’s being overlooked just because she wants to be the only dog in the home.

Here’s the thing: tons of adult dogs are happiest flying solo! It’s not weird, it’s not “bad,” it’s just their preference—and we love them for it. So whether you’re a first-time adopter looking for your ride-or-die or a seasoned dog person missing the sound of paws on the floor, please give Lacy a second look. 🐾

She’s fantastic with cats (yep, you read that right) and would do great with older, dog-savvy kiddos. Her love language? Human attention. She’s extremely people-centric and would thrive in a home where her humans are around more often than not.

No fenced yard? No problem. Lacy’s doing well going on daily leashed walks—though chasing a ball around the yard does happen to be her second favorite thing in the world. Snuggling with you, of course, takes the #1 spot. ❤️

Cat lovers, we need your help! 🚨

Our cat foster program has been growing like crazy (in the best way), but now we’ve hit a bit of a snag—we’ve got several kitties who need foster homes in the coming days and we’re officially out of open spots! 😳 Without more cat fosters, we simply can’t keep saying “yes” to the sweet feline friends who need us most.

As a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based rescue, everything we do depends on people like you. Every time someone opens their home to a cat in need, they make room for another one to be rescued.

Whether you’ve fostered before or you’re brand new to the idea, we’ll guide you every step of the way. Supplies? We help with that. Support? You’ll have plenty. Snuggles and purrs? Guaranteed. 🥰

When we asked for help making sure every adoptable Brown Dog had a safe martingale collar to call their own, you didn’t just show up—you showed off! 💙

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we collected over 70 brand-new collars that will be hand-delivered to our southern partners this weekend! 🐾

Meet Bandit—the only kind of thief you’ll actually want in your house. 😉 This pint-sized cutie is just 17 lbs currently and around 5–6 months old. He’s out here stealing hearts left and right, and yours might be next!

We think there’s a little Beagle in the mix, but we’ve been wrong before, so let’s just call him “100% certified good boy.” In his southern foster home, Bandit’s been putting in the work on all the puppy basics: house training, crate training, and leash walking. Gold star student energy, if you ask us. 🌟

His foster can’t say enough good things about him: 💬 “”Bandit is an adorable little pup. He loves for you to play with him either outside or indoors, but he’s also content to play with toys by himself or chew on a bone. He would be fine as a solo pup or with other dogs and cats. He’s so enjoyable and will be a perfect addition to a family looking for a sweet, loveable guy.”

Basically? He’s the full package—cute, clever, and cuddly. 💙 Bandit’s set to arrive in MA next week and will be ready to head home with his pre-approved adopter on Friday, October 24. So don’t wait around—apply now before someone else snags this lovebug!

FOSTER FOUND!

🚨 Sound the alarm because we’ve got a major pickle on our hands! 🚨

Princess needs foster coverage, and the clock is ticking—her current foster is heading out of town in 24 hours, and as of right now, she has nowhere to go! 😭

This 14-ish year old senior isn’t looking for much from a foster home: all she wants is a cozy lap to snuggle on as often as humanly possible. 🧡 Okay, and maybe someone to toss her a ball around the house from time to time as we recently discovered that fetch is her 2nd favorite activity in the world. 🎾

✅ Other mellow dogs? Fine because Princess basically just ignores them!
✅ Cats....unknown but likely OK as long as they have their own space.
✅ Kids should be older as smaller humans might accidentally trip over her.

If you’ve got room on your couch—and in your heart—to give Princess a safe spot to crash for about a week (longer would be amazing, too!), please reach out ASAP! 🙏

Rayne got her new glamour shots taken on Friday (we couldn’t gatekeep them if we tried), and honestly? She’s serving “new hair, who dis?” energy in every single photo! 💅

It’s hard to believe this is the same girl we met just a few months ago. Back then, she was underweight, patchy-furred, and shy from neglect. 🥺 Fast forward to now, and Rayne has blossomed into a happy, playful, glow-up queen of a pup. At around 10 months old and 31 lbs at the moment, she’s the perfect blend of snuggle buddy and adventure partner.

She’s lived with older kids, other playful dogs, and even dog-savvy cats. Basically, she’s that friend everyone wants to hang out with—just give her a little patience, a lot of love, and maybe a few treats! 😉

Don’t sleep on this Good Girl—she’s sunshine, sass, and snuggles all rolled into one very good dog. ☀️ Apply to adopt her before someone else scoops her up!
