“They are dangerous dogs!”
The most dangerous part of any dog is the lump of flesh attached to the other end of the lead.
I’ve had a couple of bull breeds now, Piglet is the second Grumble the third. When I decided I wanted one it was always going to be a rescue dog and I researched the breed to the nth degree.
I knew what I was getting myself into before I even started the search.
There was though some surprises I wasn’t expecting.
I never knew how loyal, loving, gentle, stubborn and how comedic they could be.
After the last post I put up I had many positive comments and a few negatives as well, you could go back over the post to try and find the negatives but you will not see them because as well as the comments the posters are no longer visible or have access to this page, it’s a place for positivity.
Many tried to tell me Piglet was not very well trained and as you might have guessed they came from some who had never had a bull breed in their lives.
If I wanted an obedient dog who walked to heel and did everything on command then I would have gotten a collie. I wanted a clown terrorist, I wanted a complete loon and a toddler in a dog suit because there is seldom a day goes by they don’t make me laugh and smile.
Yes they are as stubborn as a mule when they want to be, yes they are as mad as a box of frogs when they decide it’s too quiet and the room requires zoomies and yes, I both knew about it and more, I wanted it in my life.
The only dangerous part of any bull breed is is the ill informed, badly placed reputation given to them by the media and believed by the masses.
I would happily leave both my bull breeds with any other dog or child and not be in the slightest bit worried about anything.
Look beyond the prejudice placed on the breed by those who want to do nothing more than sell advertising space by playing on peoples fears.
Hug a bull breed and change your life. ❤️
