The Sanctuary Cats had a great belated Christmas! We celebrated on New Year's Eve, and had lots of prezzies and treats! I think the box was the biggest hit though! 💖 How I love my feral family

October 30th marked 4 years since we lost Moses, daddy to many if my current Sanctuary cats. We spent a long time feeding, watching over him, and praying for him. He is greatly missed 🤍

Some of you may have noticed that Isaiah & Noah have gotten progressively chubbier over the last couple of years. Due to free feeding, and myself being overstretched (which is no excuse), they both have gotten enormous. In the spring, many of the Sanctuary cats got some small cold, but the boys took it the hardest. I separated them, and nursed them back to health. It was then I decided now was the time to do more. Thanks to the influence of Patches' Journey , we are now on our own weight loss journey. On September 17th, Isaiah weighed in at 29. 26 lbs and Noah at 27.38 lbs. We have a long road ahead, and worrying about how their health will be, they are now living in cat pen in our unfinished basement, dressed up with lights, toys, and sturdy climbers to look out windows. They seem quite relaxed and have adjusted well and absolutely love their cuddles. With time, they will hopefully have access to much of the basement area, but for now they are contained to one side with room the play, roam and lounge. Let's pray this journey gets these boys back to their optimal weight and health❤️
