PARTNERS WITH PAWS OF LORAIN COUNTY IS RE-FOCUSING ITS MISSION TO HELP ALLEVIATE ONE OF THE BIGGEST OBSTACLES IN ANIMAL RESCUE!
Partners With Paws of Lorain County has been serving the needs of homeless animals, by helping their rescuers for over 20 years. We have assisted 25+ rescue groups by covering fees to pull dogs from local kennels, routine exams, spays, neuters, surgeries (often lifesaving procedures), boarding and training. And more recently, Partners With Paws has covered veterinary bills for individuals who found themselves on hard times and unable to afford their pet’s health care.
We have felt it was an honor and a privilege to help so many groups and the animals they’ve rescued over the years. But now, we have chosen to take on one of the biggest obstacles in animal rescue.
Partners With Paws of Lorain County, Inc. will be dedicating our time, resources and fundraising efforts to help alleviate the problem of the overpopulation of animals being born because of the lack of spaying, neutering and the education needed to help stop this ongoing problem. It will involve a two-phase process.
Phase One will go into effect on Monday, July 1, 2024. Partners With Paws will financially reimburse rescue groups with their spay/neuter bills using an established monthly budget. The rescues only need to circle the spay/neuter service on their invoices and submit it to Partners With Paws within 30 days of the procedure. All reimbursements will be paid on a first come/first served basis, when sent by e-mail to [email protected].
By partnering with financial donors, Partners With Paws will launch Phase Two, which will be to host and co-sponsor low-cost spay/neuter clinics throughout Northeast Ohio, not just helping rescue groups but the general public as well.
Partners With Paws is very excited to begin this new path of “FIXING THE OVERPOPULATED PET PROBLEM…BEFORE IT BECOMES A BIGGER PROBLEM!”
