Linus is a 7 year old neutered male Australian shepherd who weighs 26 pounds. These dogs were rescued from a bad situation where they were left abandoned. They are some of the sweetest dogs we have ever rescued. They are so friendly, social, and love affection. They have tested great with other dogs, will come running over for pets, and they are going to make wonderful family additions. Linus walks well on a leash and seems to be crate trained. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application on our website www.justice-rescue.com

Many people are decorating their homes for the holidays, but pet owners should be aware that some plants used for holiday decorating can be dangerous to cats and dogs. Understanding which plants are toxic, and which are not, can help bring home the festive spirit and avoid danger for pets!

♦️"Today I found this kid tied up with a bag next to him that had his things. I didn't think if I have space, if I have a job, what my husband will say or come on baby let someone else do it. I just took him, I told him it's okay that he is scared, that I understand and that everything will be fine. I am sharing the photo so everyone can see the look of terror, sadness and shock in his eyes. The animal is in shock just like a human child would be.
Today we will become a family. I hope our hug heals this traumatic experience"♦️🐾🐾

"Some love stories aren't epic novels - some are short stories, but that doesn't make them any less filled with love."

When beautiful Bentley left for his home on December 28, we had so hoped it was finally his . For 25 days our special senior boy lived with the best adopters, but it was not to be.

Bentley made it clear that he wants to be an only pup.

Don't worry, though Bentley and his sibling Chompers had some scuffles, his new family kept everyone safe. They received advice from our behavior team, hired a trainer, and ultimately made the best (and right!) decision for all involved - they brought the new dog, Bentley, back to the shelter.

And, it's not all bad news. In fact, so much of Bentley's stay was positive. He chased tennis balls in the yard, loved his people (just like we knew he would), and wanted to cuddle and sleep in his comfy beds (something that did not shock us!).

We did not give up on Bentley, and now that the mayor has returned to his kennel, A1, we still aren't giving up.

If anything, we've learned that there IS a home out there for Bentley. And we're going to find it. It'll be without any other dogs, in a low-traffic home, and with lots and lots of love.

Bentley may be back at the PSPCA, but together, we can find him his home. Please share for Bentley and don't be hard on his adopters. They gave it their all, and we couldn't be more grateful. ❤️❤️❤️
