Cozy Home Dog Spa

Let me introduce myself, my name is Tracy Jordan. I have been a pet groomer now for over 32 years. I have experience in all breeds of dogs and cats. I have owned three grooming salons to date and worked out of my home more then once. I even tried going to peoples houses to groom, and that helped elderly folks a lot.

I moved to Mountain View with my husband and got my job back working for Kathy Grow at K9 Design. I have worked for her 3 times in the past 5 years. Long story, lol. So when Kathy’s building sold, I started this home based business. I was asked to work with Stefanie Lindsey who decided to open her own salon My Dogs Hair Salon. She opened her doors on July 3rd and I have been there since.

This business has not closed, as a back up plan. I like having something to fall back on in case things don’t work out. But as much as I loved the idea of working from home. I know being out in the country has its limitations. So working in town is a better option for me.

I have worked with rescue dogs, and the key for me is to be patient. It isn’t easy, but it isn’t their fault either. They just don’t understand my reasons to groom them are to help them. But after the groom is over, they seem to understand it a little bit. And every groom after is another lesson in trust and patients.
