The owners of a Jack Russell terrier mix is asking for help after she went missing earlier this week.
Harley was last seen on Tuesday, January 14 near Herbst and Vigne Roads in Kennedy Township.

Today is our favorite day of the year. Each year on New Years Eve, we welcome dogs into the rescue that otherwise would be euthanized. These dogs were in an overcrowded shelter for months. The shelter was shut down a few months ago for neglect and many more things we don’t want even thinking about. But today 38 dogs got their freedom ride. There were puppies and seniors on this ride. Puppies that had parvo and beat it. Momma dogs whose puppies are waiting to come on the next trip as they had parvo and are still in quarantine. Smallest dog is 5 pounds and biggest is 97 pounds. We have Golden Retriever mixes who had parvo and have waited three months to find a home. An older Hound dog that is a volunteer favorite already. We have scruffies, fluffies and smooth coats. This transport took four weeks to plan but tonight all of these puppies and dogs are in a warm bed in a warm home ready to start the new year with a new family. Watch for individual pictures.

Some of you may remember these sweet old souls, Rooster and Wrench. They need a new home. Back in May, Their mom had dementia and had to go into a home. Family members were not able to keep them. We found a wonderful home for them. Sadly, we just learned that their new mom is having health issues and can no longer keep them. Rooster and Wrench are brothers from the same litter. They have always been together. They are 11 years old. Their mom says they are in good health and deserve a new home where they can be together.. They get along with other dogs and cats. They get along with children.They are housebroken, and they are neutered. If you are from the greater Pittsburgh area and can find it in your heart to give this bonded pair of brothers a new home, please submit an application on our website.
