The world of dog training has changed dramatically in the last two decades. Although the science of animal training was initially formalized in the 1930's - 1940's, it followed a path based on corrections, intimidation and even fear for many many years. More recently the power of positive reinforcement has been proven as the better training system. It's not only kinder and more efficient, but more

importantly for me it brings the human/animal connection closer together through two way communication. The power of this communication, and the relationship and understanding, is what I ultimately hope to be able to show my clients.
