Isn’t it lovely how cats in the same social pack look after each other?

These are my two - has unfortunately had to have both his ears removed thanks to skin cancer 😢 thankfully it looks likely to be curative; but he’s very miserable wearing a cone of shame for 10 days and not allowed outside.

Our other cat, Wuss, came to sleep beside him to protect him. Made my heart melt a little bit 🥹

Just a little dose of cuteness for Caturday 🥰🐾

A big thank you to my very beautiful Christmas clients of the furry variety! What an honour it is to spend Christmas times with such gorgeous kitties 😻🐾

I’ve been so busy I’ve had to nominate my Dad to ensure my own kitties have had plenty of cuddles (see last pic for Domino!) - thanks Dad!

🐈 I love watching the relationship between my baby and my cats develop. Both learning at the same time how to be patient, kind and tolerant of each other.

How long do you think Wuss has before that tail gets pulled?! 😆

Thank you Katherine for another 5 star review! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Johnny is a little black cat who can be a bit protective of his home, as he lives with a young child and he wants to protect the nest! We made sure to give him plenty of space on each visit when first arriving and letting him approach us with a careful sniff. After a couple of days he was much happier with our arrival and ready to get his dinner! 😋

It’s great to hear from owners that they’ve come home to a relaxed and happy cat after their trip. This is what we aim for with every kitty 🐱 ♥️

If you have a nervous or shy cat we’d be happy to help take care of them while you are away 🐾

Swipe for pics of Johnny, with an excellent tongue blep 😜

And this is Wuss, my other cat. Lover of boxes, food and outdoor adventures. He is partial to a tomato and obsessed with chicken.

It’s a bit of a long story how Wuss came into my life. When I first met my husband Jimmy, he told me how very sadly his cat was missing and had been for several months. He’d tried everything to find his loyal cat but he’d been unwell and disappeared one day without trace.

Jimmy had been living in East London at the time and we made the decision to move in together at the start of the first lockdown in 2020.

Only a few days after he moved in, Jimmy woke up one morning and shouted “WUSS!!”

He had woken to photos of his beloved cat from a stranger, who had found Wuss screaming at her on the street at 6am while she was out jogging. We believe that during the lockdown Wuss’ scavenging for food from strangers must have come to a halt with nobody around and he was starving. This kind woman took him in and unbelievably matched his face to Jimmys missing posters on Facebook from 9 months prior (!!)

We both dropped everything and went to collect him; Jimmy reunited with his old friend and me meeting him for the first time.

It was very special and I’m so grateful to have him now in our lives again.

Domino was not such a fan, however; and we spent 4 months carefully introducing them until they were friends.

I therefore can confidently say I’m experienced with somewhat feisty middle aged man cats who need a bit of love to get along. Ours still scrap a bit when they are hungry but generally now enjoy a cuddle together (with some safe distance 🤣)

If you need any advice on introducing cats then give me a shout! 🐈‍⬛ 🐈

Introducing you all to Domino, my first rescue cat 🐈‍⬛

He is what is known as a Foster Fail…. When living in a flat in London I knew it would be hard to keep a cat without outside access. So, I signed up with to foster so I could help look after cats without having one full time.

They reached out to tell me they had a little kitty who needed 2 weeks of care who had just had all of his teeth removed. My heart melted instantly and he arrived in my flat for his foster stay.

2 weeks turned into 2 months, and I fell in love with little Domino. As amazing as the shelter is, he spent his time there hiding away from everyone and with his health problems it seemed likely he would take a long time to be adopted. I also learned black cats on average take twice as long to be rehomed. I discussed with the vet if he could be kept inside while I lived in my flat and they agreed it would be a good environment for his adjustment to being toothless, as he’s now more vulnerable in cat fights.

They told me in the shelter that he never came out to see anyone and they were amazed at his response to me - coming straight out of his hiding place to jump on my lap for a cuddle.

They say cats choose their owners and I definitely believe Domino chose me 🥰

We now live in a house in Bristol with a private garden where he enjoys roaming free and jumping about in the grass 🌳

Every cat is so different and I look forward to meeting more furry clients in the local area and hearing your stories of how you met! 😻

Thank you Alicia for your kind words, we loved sitting for Oscar ♥️ swipe for pics of this cute fella!

My husband is also mentioned in this review…. He was responsible for kitty p**p duties while I was pregnant with our son 🤰

For those who don’t know, pregnant ladies can’t clear cat litter as there is a risk of Toxoplasmosis. I can also offer pet hygiene visits for this service alone if you need help for health reasons ♥️

🌟 Welcome new followers and thank you so much for following The Cat Guru!

🐈 I am a Bristol based cat sitter who up until now has been using agencies for bookings, but I’ve decided to brave it and go solo. I really appreciate you visiting this page and supporting my small business!

🐾 About me for those of you who don’t already know me - I’m Becky, I’m based in Bristol and have been cat sitting for many years. I’ve owned cats since childhood and my first cat Whisky definitely kicked off my love for these amazing animals 😻

🐱 I love cat sitting as I know just how important it is to know that your furbabies are being looked after by someone reliable, trustworthy and importantly good with cats while you are away. I have two myself (Wuss and Domino) who I’m sure will feature heavily on this page, and it means the world to me when I’ve had a brilliant cat sitter looking after them when I’m gone.

🏡 For me, cats being left in their own home environment is the best thing for them when owners are away and I take great care to make sure their regular routines are followed and their space is respected. After all - I am a guest in their home and they have every right to be the boss!

👋 I offer a free of charge meet and greet service before you confirm your booking with me so you can make sure you are happy with me and my services before proceeding. And of course, so your animals can sniff and approve me too! During the meet and greet you can show me where everything lives, tell me their routine and favourite hiding places and share a key if you are happy to go ahead.

🐈‍⬛ My service is bespoke to each household as every cat is different and I’m happy to consider any special requests you might have. If you need plants watering, lights turned on and off for security or just would like an extra half hour of time each visit to make sure your cat feels happy then I’m on board with any and all suggestions!

🐾 I offer transparent pricing with a per visit cost based on 30 mins per visit and a discount applied for twice daily. That time can be filled with whatever you need and for up to 3 cats or animals per household.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All reviews to date are 5 star!
