Another successful spay/neuter transport day is in the books! Ten dogs and 15 cats, including 1 Fix-A-Bull recipient, are now spayed/neutered thanks to our 15+ year partnership between the Allegheny Spay/Neuter Clinic, the Huntingdon County Humane Society, local pet parents & caregivers and Happy Paws Happy Homes. When we work together, good things can happen for companion animals.

A win for animals in our state!

🎉 VICTORY in the Pennsylvania Senate! 🎉 Today, the Senate passed SB 381, the Beagle Bill, unanimously- a huge step forward for animals in our Commonwealth.

This win is thanks to the people who care about them: every call, every email, every legislator who listened, and every advocate who refused to give up. Together, we’ve shown once again that animal protection is a powerful, bipartisan issue in Pennsylvania.

As of today, all of our 2025 transport day appointments are booked solid EXCEPT for male cat neuter appointments (still some left in December). If we get cancelations, we will post them. If you can supply your own transportation to a clinic we partner with in Centre or Clearfield Counties, our voucher option may help you get your pet's spay/neuter done before 2026.
If you had a transport day appointment booked with us and don't need it anymore, please contact us via PM, email to [email protected] or 814-360-7383 so that we can open the space up for a pet who needs it.

Don't wait until they're a bit older to SCHEDULE their spay/neuter appointment! The time is now! Here's why:
Cats can get into heat as young as 4 months of age.
Dogs and cats and be spayed/neutered as young as 3 months of age.
Spay/neuter appointments are often booking several months out!

We are just 1 month away from our 20th birthday party celebration! Our friends at the Allegheny Spay/Neuter Clinic will be joining us. Their van, which picks up pets for us in Huntingdon and Tyrone on transport days, will be on site. We will also have spay/neuter vouchers available for purchase and sign-up opportunities for transport days available.

There is still room for 2 more craft/product vendors if anyone would like to support us and advertise their business at the same time. Send us a PM if you're interested in this opportunity.
