Our Story
Let us start off by introducing ourselves! We are Porcelain & Modesty, and the owners and founders of Gotham Geckos! Gotham Geckos is located in New York City, NY.
Believe it or not it was a love for animals that brought us together, a love for virtual animals that is. We became long time friends playing breeding games through facebook apps over 10 years ago. We still play breeding games today lol. Modesty at the time was breeding Ball pythons and vending at the White Plains expo. She somehow convinced the elusive Porcelain to come down and check out all the animals there and of course get to meet the Awesome Modesty in person. And guess what! She did! And So started there long friendship and journey together. A few years later Modesty traded in her passion for ball pythons and began a new passion for crested geckos. Little did she know that this passion she shared with Porcelain would lead them both down the path to creating Gotham Geckos! We started of with just breeding cresties. But we wanted more! We wanted to create a company that not only provided gorgeous and healthy cresties but all the supplies to help keep them healthy and we did! We started off providing Bug-De-Lites Liquid Calcium and Panacur. But that wasn’t enough we wanted to do more. So we created A gutload with organic fruits & veggies. And then we thought why stop there! Porcelain decided we should incorporate our love for the art that we shared in our games into our business and we brought you posters, stickers and all types of merch with amazing reptile art. We will continue to expand and bring you new exciting products because its what we love to do! Now, we are taking it one step further and not just expanding our products but our animals! We will now be housing several new species not just from New Cal., but now from Madagascar and Australia. We can not wait to see what we produce with these new Species and are so happy to have you along on this journey with us! Thank you all so much for your continued love & support through the years!
