Scent training night!!!!
Speed scent was so much fun tonight!!! Keeping it fun while working is what it’s all about!
Just a little look into what our 6 week scent class looks like working with our first scent birch! All the dogs where able to find all 3 hides today! I am so proud of all these pups!
Working hard with Mr. Farley ( the small guy) on impulsive behaviors. He did such a good job in his session today togetherness activities is where we establish confidence slowly moving closer with each activity, in this situation we started very far apart to gain the confidence and as the session went on we moved closer.
Don't go all in right away, give the training time, when you do typically dogs will go to a better learning space and are able to cope better and find that trust within thier handler!

Hey everyone meet Axle!!!! he came to me about a mth ago, the handler was experiencing some aggressive behaviors from him. This is our 3rd session today and let me tell you, this was huge!
First and foremost before we even got started with training I had his handlers muzzle train him , He now loves his muzzle, as he knows it brings him all good things.
Our first session I couldn't even come out into the training area while working him, continuous barking and growling trying to get over by me.
Our 2nd session I was able to come out but he was completely focus on me and if I made one step even near his direction he would go off.
3rd session I was able to walk around the room, talk to handlers and even walk past him with no reaction at all.
I am so proud of this boy! But most importantly I am proud of his handlers that have been working so hard with him, dogs don't get better in 1 training session with me a week they get better when the handler does thier homework at home!
We have alot of work to do yet, but this was a huge day for everyone involved!
Please give it up for Axel!

Meet Izzy!
This girl has made such a huge difference in just the 2 short months I have been working with her. This girl was afraid of everything and anything. Something as easy as running through this obstacle course would not have been possible. She would have barked and obsessed over other things that were out of her comfort zone. If she felt like she wasn't in control she would lose her mind. I can proudly say with alot of hard work from her handlers she is doing a fantastic job. This was her off lead today with me in the room (someone she didn't like at all in the beginning and now gives me tons of love).
We have more work to do but man am I proud of this sweet girl!
So proud of this boy!!! Thank you Alyssa for trusting in me with your boy, I know there is more work to be done but we have put in the ground work to keep moving forward!
