Meet Beki – Our Lovely, Overlooked Gem 🐾

We can't understand why sweet Beki has had zero interest so far. She’s such a lovely dog and would make a fantastic companion for someone special. 🐶

Beki is great with other dogs and has even been cat-tested. She has a wonderfully sweet nature and brings joy to everyone she meets. Although it’s hard to determine her exact age—her face might suggest she's older, but her body and attitude are youthful and full of life.

She’s very easygoing and would adapt wonderfully to a loving home. Beki is fully vaccinated, spayed, and comes with a lifetime backup from us.

Beki is our next foster dog that we are now fundraising for. We were asked to help out as this older girl has been in the pound for over 2 years and is constantly overlooked for younger dogs. She really deserves a retirement home. She’s another Bleu de Gascogne! I just love this breed.

We need to raise more funds though for all the pre-checks needed before Beki even arrives with us, hopefully in May.

🐾 Exciting news! Silvia, our adorable rescue dog from Spain, has safely arrived here in foster in Westerham and is melting hearts already! 🌍 she is a beautiful Petite Bleu de Gascogne, approximately 2 years old, an absolute sweetheart, loves humans, gets along with other dogs, and has a special bond already with my stepdaughter. 🥰 Currently undergoing her behavioural assessment, I'm confident she'll find her forever home in no time!

🎉 We're on a mission to equip Silvia with a Ruffwear Webmaster harness and collar for a secure fit. Thanks to a generous donation, we've raised £35 so far! 🙏 - Thank you the total amount for this has now been raised! We are so grateful ☺️

Some people raise eyebrows when we walk our dogs in winter coats. However dogs are at risk of hypothermia, particularly dogs with shorter fur. Great to see this information on BBC website today

They've usually got fur coats, but pets still need help to stay warm during wintry weather.

Our thoughts are with the young ladies family and to those that sadly witnessed this happen. 😞

Officers are continuing to investigate after a 28-year-old woman from London sadly died following reports of a dog attacking members of the public at Gravelly Hill in Caterham yesterday afternoon.

The woman is believed to have been walking a number of dogs at the time of the incident.

A total of eight dogs were detained at the scene by officers and remain in the custody of police. The owners of these dogs have been identified and are being kept informed as the investigation continues.
