Second pup intro for Mabel and what a super relaxed little girl she was.
She got a light trim today and investigated the clipper and hair dryer sounds and feelings.
And of course most importantly lots of cuddles and treats to reinforce the good vibes
Slow and steady wins the race. ❤️

Puppies having their introductions to grooming.
Relaxed and calm. Full of treats and cuddles, little Nala and Fern here hardly noticed the brushing and combing, trimming of their feet, faces and bottoms and even nail trimming.

This time I got to bath these gorgeous girls before their trim so gave them a fluff dry which gives a beautiful finish on the trim.💕💓🐶🐕

Proof that putting in the prep makes all the difference.
After only a few pup intro sessions to calmly introduce this little lady to grooming, Emi did fantastically well for her first full groom.

With this lovely warm weather I'm now booking up about 4 weeks ahead so if you are on my books (sorry still not taking new dogs )and think your pooches will need a haircut over the summer please book in now to avoid disappointment

Grooming appointments aren't just about your dog having a bath and a haircut, I cover every inch of the dog and notice things that owners might not always notice and regular visits I can even notice age related changes, new lumps and bumps, Hidden sore bits and even little hidden unwanted visitors like this tick hidden in all the hair around the ear.

Omg I'm so overwhelmed. What an amazing month its been
I'm loving every day meeting all these lovely dogs

Ive had soooo many new pooches booking in for pamper sessions and then rebooking their next appointments that I'm afraid to say I'm having to take a pause in taking on any more new client bookings
( all those registered with me can still get appointments )

This is temporary and I will reassess regularly to see how I'm doing for spaces and repost on here.

I want to carry on doing my job to the best of my ability and squeezing too many in isn't good for me or the dogs

Thank you to everyone who's recommended me, keep doing so for future spaces becoming available.

Albie is a such a sweetie. Such a gentle nature but
Having a pamper isn't his favourite place to be,

As a groomer its important for me to read an anxious dog's mood and to know when to stop,
even if that means Albie going home slightly damp.
A happy dog is all that matters. And Albie went home Happy

Freddie enjoys the dryer so much he's curled up asleep and even when I move him gently he is still snoring away . Seems a shame to move him when he's dry

I got to meet the adorable pair, Bertie and Bluie.

I am fully trained and experienced in handstripping but for some dogs it's not suitable

These two have been transfered to clipping in the past so I continued and lightly clipped them so as not to damage their base coats.

Now they look smart for the spring
