Please be kind to your vet. You have no idea what they deal with on a daily basis and, no, they aren't in it for the money. If they wanted easy money, they chose the wrong career.

The Analy Vet family is heartbroken to share the news that our beloved Dr. Wayne Tran has passed away. To say that we are devastated by his loss does not fully express how we feel. More than just a fantastic doctor who cared deeply for his patients and their owners, Wayne was a kind, empathetic, and gentle person who brought warmth and humor to those who knew him. He is greatly missed every day.

We are thinking of his family and loved ones during this painful time. Thank you for keeping all who knew him in your thoughts as we all navigate this profound loss.
His family has provided two links for donations if anyone is inclined to do so. Both are for animal rescue, a cause dear to Wayne's heart.

Lastly, we provided a link for Not One More Vet, an organization founded to help provide mental health support to the veterinary community. https://nomv.org/

We know that for dogs, having their person with them during a vet consult helps them to feel less stressed. But does the same apply to cats? A new study investigates and finds that yes, cats are less stressed if their guardian is with them during the vet exam. And not only that, but most cat guardians say they would like to be present, even for procedures like blood draws. What do you think? Does your pet do better at the vet if you are present?

You can read about the study via the link in bio or here: https://www.companionanimalpsychology.com/2025/09/does-your-presence-help-your-cat-at-vet.html

We often hear the phrases ‘small dog syndrome’ or ‘he thinks he’s bigger than he is’.
The truth is smaller dogs can get louder because they need to shout to be heard. Because they get it rough.

They get manhandled, laughed at and lifted from their feet without warning. The smallest often have the littlest control over their lives. These dogs are very aware of their size and that’s why they need to make sure they are heard.

Kawasaki has introduced CORLEO, a rideable quadruped robot that walks like an animal and runs on hydrogen, with no wheels, no tracks, and zero emissions. Designed to tackle rugged terrain, CORLEO mimics the gait of four-legged creatures, stepping over obstacles and navigating rough ground with ease. Powered by a 150cc hydrogen engine, it generates electricity to move its articulated limbs and leaves behind nothing but water v***r, a futuristic stride toward sustainable mobility.

This robot mount isn’t just for show: it features rubber hooves for grip, a motorcycle-style seat, and a heads-up display that helps the rider monitor hydrogen levels and balance. Riders steer CORLEO with body shifts and posture, while AI systems stabilize movement in real time.

Still a prototype, CORLEO points to a future where clean energy and robotics converge, offering a glimpse of what off-road exploration could look like in a post-carbon world.

A very common culprit (or at least contributor) to my aggression cases is tooth pain!! This is a brilliant idea and I urge everyone to donate (even $1, $5, or $1 billion all add up) and share!

Senior dogs like Noella should not have to suffer in silence. That’s why we launched our Tooth Fairy Fund:

In January, Noella arrived to us emaciated and shut down, letting out a heartbreaking squeal whenever touched, as if she were in pain. 💔

It wasn’t until her first vet visit that we began to understand why Noella was so sensitive to touch: her mouth was full of infected, rotted teeth!

Nineteen extractions and $1,300 later, we met a whole new dog! 💖

While still shy, she’s gone from being untouchable to letting me pick her up and give her kisses. She is healthier, happier, enjoys mealtime, and sleeps peacefully, thanks to the life-changing dental procedure that took away her pain.

Please help us offer more senior dogs like Noella the dignity and comfort they deserve.

You can donate here, via Venmo @ vintagepetrescue or at: https://funraise.org/give/Vintage-Pet-Rescue/79de4bcc-4a4c-4d32-b29f-4f15cb14c4b2

And thanks to our generous matching donor, Pug Acres North, every dollar you donate is MATCHED, automatically doubling your impact. Your $5 turns into $10 Your $25 turns into $50 Your $100 turns into $200.

Our Story

My goal is, quite simply, to help companion animals by educating the humans they interact with, whether that is pet professionals (such as trainers, groomers, veterinary staff, animal control, rescue personnel, and more) or pet lovers. I work with cat and dog owners by providing realistic, tangible advice that best fits the pets’ needs, but with as much consideration as possible for owner lifestyle. I offer private, one-on-one sessions in your home, virtually online, or at my office. I also provide educational services to animal care and control professionals, professionals who encounter animals in their daily work, community groups, or to any let lover looking for education on animal behavior and training related information. My educational events occur locally, nationally, internationally, and online.
