Ok my peeps...time to let everyone know what's going on.
I was diagnosed with squamous cell cancer in my nasal cavity/sinuses in April. I had emergency surgery, but they couldn't get it all. After many scans/tests and being referred to specialist after specialist, we have a better idea of what's happening. Kinda.
Within the next week I will be in Miami having major surgery to remove the roof of my mouth, hopefully that's all I'll lose. And hopefully the reconstruction using part of my scapula will be a success. Afterwards, the radiation treatments will begin.
I don't know when I will be returning to work 😥 so I want to thank my clients for the opportunity to groom their fur babies for the last 13 years. I have met some wonderful people and dogs while on this journey. I thank you.
