Hannah has specialized in working with multi-disiciplines and sensitive horses over the years. She works to create positive relationships between horse and owner, so that the outcome is happy and healthy. Hannah rescued an emaciated and emotionally shut down 13 year old Dutch Harness/Arab cross mare in 2019 that has tested her training ability and opened the door for many new practices in handli
ng a stressed and highly sensitive horse with a patchy background. Patience, care, and willingness to adjust training methods for every horse has allowed this mare to blossom and come into her own. Hannah hopes to event in lower level competitions with her and has currently taken her to a few combined training schooling shows, many trail rides, and had impactful liberty/neck rope connection work. Hannah worked with her horse, TG Paraguay+/ (2000-2022), from his saddleseat background to dressage and hunt seat. They have made it to national level over the years in saddle seat (country english pleasure, show hack, equitation, native costume), hunt seat equitation, sidesaddle, sport horse under saddle, sport horse show hack, and dressage (training and first level). They have been showing dressage, up to third level, while trail riding, conditioning, tackless, and occasionally riding cross country, jumping. They also briefly showed over fences as well as two Pipeopeners at Intro and Elementary, while schooling Beginner Novice fences. They have achieved their USDF Bronze medal and Rider Performance Award in Training, First, and Second Level together. Hannah also brought Sparky along in advanced liberty work and working completely tackless at the WTC. Hannah has worked under and with several barns and trainers over the years, as well as exercising and showing horses for trainers and clients, including ex-steeplechase fox hunters, Tennessee walking horses, Western ranch riding, and OTTB retraining. Her phrases: "Riding the Gap" and "A Different Way of Thinking" is about riding into the unknown, learning new things and putting them towards what we know. It's about looking at conventional and unconventional approaches to training and life to enjoy your horse and enjoy your life. "Soft hands, Strong Legs, Steady Mind"
