This page is for dedicated Animal Lover Volunteers who want to take an active, hands on approach to helping and saving animals. Too often an animal is found roaming the streets and people just keep going on by. Found in an alley, or even up in the mountains but no one is able, or willing to capture and bring to safety. When one loses a pet they are often desperate and alone in their search. With
Pet Patrol, we will take an active roll in helping all animals, including wildlife. You need help searching your area, posting and making flyers? Contact us and we will help. Find a lose dog on the streets, or in the wilderness, or cant hold until the animal shelter is open? Contact us, and we will provide resources or direction in your area, and find qualified individuals or groups that can help and can provide temporary housing until the shelter is open, animal control can retrieve, or owner is found, whichever comes first. Find an animal trapped, sick, or injured? Let us know and we can provide contacts in your area who can help, or will contact authorities for you if not wanting to report. Find a dog in a hot car? Let us know and we can provide help on what to do, and who to contact. Working with animals daily I see ever too often where animals are being abused, neglected, are lost than found, but finder cant hold on to so has to let go. OR an animal is found on the streets, or in the woods and no one was able to "get close" to the dog to bring it home to safety. With this community I want us to all come together as volunteers to be on the "Front Line" to help rescue as many animals as possible. Help get them off the streets, out of abuse, out of the shelters, and into a safe, healthy and happy environment. We are not a rescue, and do we do not intake animals ourselves, but we do work closely with rescues, wildlife groups and animal control. We can provide resources and information in you area if you do not know what to do, or who to contact. In addition, we will assist in locating a rescue and or foster when an animal is in need, and provide resources when transportation is needed. We are also here to support our community, and provide emergency assistance whenever needed. We have worked with the American Red Cross in emergency events were animals needed to be evacuated from fire. In any emergency event, from fires, to natural disasters, if an animal is in need we will provide assistance. Please message us here, or at [email protected] for any additional questions or if you would like to be a volunteer or join or team. Thank you for working with Pet Patrol of Utah, and helping us save one animal at at time!
