I want to publicly thank all the people and organizations that have offered to help as I strive to place some of my Goldens and Tollers. Your kindness and concern has been heartwarming. At this time I have successfully placed most of the dogs needing homes. I plan to continue working privately to place a few remaining dogs, but will contact individuals and rescues if needed to complete my goals. I do have several older dogs that need homes - three 8 year old Goldens and three 6 year old Toller boys. There is also a 2 year old Golden boy and a couple older Toller puppies. If you know of anyone specifically interested in a particular dog please contact me by email at [email protected]. The placement of these dogs will allow me to continue to improve my health, living environment, and finances and I appreciate those that have been able to provide a home to one or more of my dogs.

Our breeding program will remain on hold until the second half of 2023.

Announcing the Tony/Storm litter, born 3/12/2022, available to pet homes - 3 females, 1 male. Originally there were 6, but parvo took 2 precious pups. :( Thanks to advice and supplies from Joy Gyorgyfalvy DVM & Patricia Greene, I was able to save 2 other sick pups. Two never became ill. They are now healthy, happy pups. If interested, contact me at [email protected].

After dealing with parvo in my last litter, I decided to not do the breedings I wanted to this year. Well, Luna had other plans and presented me with "The Illicit Six" a week ago (2m, 4f).
I'll be doing DNA to determine the sire and getting what clearances I can on both parents, as needed. However, the fact remains that Luna cannot get a heart clearance. She's been seen by a couple of Cardiologists and has been diagnosed with mild mitral valve regurgitation but will live a normal life. She does not have SAS (genetic Golden heart issue). I had her scheduled to be spayed when the parvo hit and had to cancel the surgery.
After dealing with and losing some puppies to parvo, followed by a DVT in my leg, my mental & physical state was not great and contributed to my negligence in monitoring my girls. I also had an accidental and incompatible (both parents were PRA carriers) Toller breeding around the same time but caught that early enough to terminate the litter. I admit that in hindsight I regret that decision, but what is done is done. Not been a good year and I've made some poor decisions.
Anyway, after a vet wellness check, these pups will be available the first weekend in December. Depending on who the sire is and what clearances I can get on the parents, pups will be no more then half my regular puppy fee. Luna will also be available to a pet home. Contact me if interested.

Just a quick announcement on a personal tragedy I've been dealing with the past month. An 8 month old Golden pup of mine somehow became infected with parvovirus. First time I've ever had to deal with this disease. By the time I knew what it was, all the dogs had been exposed, including the puppies. I ended up losing 3 Golden puppies from the Quill/Aurora litter. Two sweet boys on May 4th and my promising beautiful girl on May 11th. The survivors, 2 Toller pups and 6 Golden pups, had their wellness check yesterday and were pronounced healthy. They've had 1 parvovirus vaccine (Neopar) on May 13th and will be given a parvo/distemper vaccine next week. That means they can start heading to new homes the weekend of June 5th.
I've been trying to get videos of the pups processed this week but have had some issues that are now resolved. I should have a video taken on 5/21/2021 of the Golden pups "on the table" tomorrow. I will start contacting people who have emailed or messaged me tomorrow also.
Sorry for the complete shutdown of communication, which I admit wasn't great before this happened, but this has not been something I was able to deal with publicly. It will haunt me for a very long time.
