Wilson has a few important announcements regarding boarding and daycare for the upcoming week. 📣 🎄

- Please remember to prepare individual, pre-portioned bags of food for your dog. This will ensure they have enough food for their stay.

- Due to an increase in boarding requests, you must reserve a daycare spot in advance. We will not be able to accommodate any drop-ins next week.

- Please note that we will be closed for daycare and boarding drop-offs and pick-ups on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! 🎅🏽

Hey everyone! We’re excited to start celebrating your pup’s birthdays here at Annie’s! If you’d like your dog to be added to our birthday calendar, please comment their birthday (or adoption date if you don’t know their birthday) on this post. Hello! We’re excited to announce a new initiative. After speaking with several local rescues, we will feature one adoptable dog each week. Please help us spread the word by sharing this post so we can find loving homes for these wonderful dogs!

First up is SOPHIE!

Meet Little Sophie, an 8-year-old Red Tri Toy/Mini Australian Shepherd. She has been with the rescue for over three years, and we can’t understand why because she is truly sweet and perfect. Sophie needs an active home where she can enjoy plenty of time outdoors playing. She is both house and crate-trained but prefers to roam freely in the house rather than be in a crate, and she does well with that.

Sophie can live with other dogs and loves to play with them. However, she does have a tendency to claim her person, which is a common herding behavior. She can be vocal in telling other dogs to give her space, so a home with young children or grandchildren would not be suitable for her. A fenced-in yard is necessary for her to play safely. While she could thrive as an only dog, she wouldn't do well in an apartment setting due to her occasional barking.

Sophie is a super cute, very small, and incredibly sweet dog who has been waiting for her forever family. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm-negative, on prevention, and microchipped.

All adopters are required to have their pets spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Anyone interested can visit millerscause.org to fill out an adoption application!
