Dear Pig lovers. We are looking to rehome our pet pig Biggles. Currently Biggles is happy and safe with us in Suburbia Perth until we find him a new home. We adopted Biggles from a Perth Baby Animal petting farm when he became too big to be a baby! We adopted Biggles about 5 years ago and he is used to being solo. Our council allows one pig up to 50kg and he far exceeds this. So, because of Biggles size and that we need to downsize, these are the 2 biggest reasons Biggles needs a new home.
Biggles is a content boy who spends most of the day in a good sized pen, and then 'free- ranges' in the rest of the yard most days.
Like all pigs Biggles loves his food. We feed him morning and night with goat muesli (his favourite) and any left over vegetables and salad from our kitchen (and friends and family)
Biggles is in excellent health and has no ailments and can still run fast.
He is happy to roam on his own and forage around the garden and turn over the mulch. Obviously Biggles needs a large area to roam and exercise, and he is not a cuddlesome pig. Biggles comes to you when called , but will expect food! We would really like to rehome Biggles asap. We would welcome anyone interested to visit and meet Biggles ( we are 20km from CBD)
We have had Biggles for 5 1/2 years so I think he is about 61/2 or 7 years old
