I have lived in a cell for over a year which was more than most of the other Dogs at the Kennels. A few of them found homes but most of my friends were taken away for something called the needle - I don't know what that is, but I never saw them again. I heard the staff at the Kennels talking about me & they said that a year was the absolute limit for them to keep me & as I was not that cute & as I
was old they were going to get a needle for me
I still didn't know what that was, but I had a bad feeling
On the day I was due for this needle, a desperate phone call was made to someone called Fiona to ask if she would be able to squeeze me in. I could hear the lady saying that she didn't really like to ask as Fiona was already looking after so many. Later that day a man came & I was lead to his car & we drove off. An hour or so later I arrived here & was thrilled to find lots of Dogs like me & loads of other animals too. I wish I had always lived at this place as there are so many friends to meet and so much to explore. Fiona is very nice to me & all the other animals, but I don't know how long I will be able to stay as Fiona really needs a lot more support if she is going to be able to continue to look after so many of us - Apparently we all cost over £5300 a month to feed and there is just not enough money coming in. Please help me and my friends - there are 400 of us altogether & just Fiona to look after us all
Please help me and my friends
