Ann's Angels is a small group in Chanute, KS. Our main focus is on local animals in danger. Ann's Angels is a small,state licensed canine rescue in Chanute, KS.
All the dogs I take in are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, crate trained, housebroken (or working on it) and fully temperament tested before being adopted out. They all live in the house with my family. Ann's Angels runs solely out of our pocket and through private donations. My God, if the look on this poor girl's face doesn't say it all I don't know what will. She was surrendered to the Chanute, KS shelter today for unknown reasons and she is clearly heartbroken. She is said to be Spayed, good with kids, cats and dogs, housetrained and current on Rabies. Poor baby is so sad... Look at her pictures. I'm sitting here in tears as I write this. I can feel her pain through the phone.
Dogs WILL die tomorrow at Noon because there simply isn't enough room and people keep letting them breed or letting them run loose and not reclaiming, or bringing a banned breed into town. My heart honestly can't take much more. Please can someone make room in their life for this precious girl??

These 3 handsome boys are looking for a family to save them. They are currently at Chanute, KS Animal Shelter and it is filling up fast. They need a hero to give them a home. Al cannot be adopted to a city with a breed ban.

These kids have rescue BUT only if we raise $75 per kitty to cover their vetting (spay/neuter, combo test, vaccines and Health Cert) before they go. The shelter is FULL and they could die if we don't get this covered. Who can save a life today??

❤️❤️ADOPTED TOGETHER!!❤️❤️
These 2 dogs were abandoned at a vet's office in Chanute, KS by their owner. They have done nothing wrong and certainly don't deserve to die because they had a heartless owner. They need to leave as soon as possible. They have been there for a month and will be euthanized on June 7 without an adopter or rescue. They are super friendly and up to date on all vaccines. Athena is already Spayed and they have a sponsor that will pay to Neuter Duke before he leaves. Both are current on vaccines as well. Please let me know if you have room for one of these sweet babies.

This tiny, baby nugget is looking for a family at the Chanute, KS shelter. He's an 8-9 week old Aussie mix and probably weighs 4-5 pounds. He's not going to be very big.

To all my rescue Brothers and Sisters, I see you. I understand you're struggling right now more than ever. I've never seen animal welfare in a worse state than it is right now. We didn't create this mess, but we are stuck trying to clean it up and it's overwhelming. Take a moment to just breathe. Take a moment to celebrate all the lives you have saved!! This girl needs a hero ASAP! She is at Chanute, KS shelter and is running out of time. She is currently on medication for soft stool and needs someone to take her home and work with her on her potty training. She would probably do best with a fenced in yard where she can do her business. Heidi is a super sweet and playful girl that would love a family to call her own. PLEASE HURRY!!

🆘💔🆘IT'S CRITICAL AT THE CHANUTE, KS SHELTER!!! 🆘💔🆘
These sweet babies need rescue or adopters ASAP!! The shelter is almost completely full and if other dogs come in (and they will because nobody seems to care about keeping their animals recently), these kids are in danger of being euthanized. Again, DO NOT blame the shelter or Animal Control, they have no choice when they're full. This post isn't for bashing the irresponsible owners that left them here either, it's just to fix their messes. Who can save a life today??

Heidi was adopted and was just returned. She is good with other dogs and loves people. She needs work on house training. I would highly recommend crate training while she learns. Please adopt this girl, she doesn't deserve to die for having accidents. The shelter is filling up fast.

These handsome young men are looking for a home that will love them forever. Spooky is very scared and needs a family that will be patient with him and help him build up his confidence. His brother Benji has come out of his shell and ,is quickly learning that people are ok. Bandit is a big, silly puppy!

THIS is what happens to a large number of these "Doodles" that everyone keeps breeding. They end up discarded and suffering because people have no idea of what they're getting when they buy one. But by all means, please keep breeding your mixed breed dogs that you sell to anyone with cash money. Rescues will just keep trying to clean up your messes, or the dog will die, matted and terrified, but you got your money so what do you care?
