I'm getting a number of request to do an ant colony version of this.. are there any other ideas you'd like to see my take on for the nature series before moving on to the next chapter of ready-made terrariums?🤔

I'm also getting weird questions about keeping real bees in this and upkeeping... this isn't real😅

It's fully preserved/artificial with the intent to be maintenance-free. So it will always look like this... forever!😬 🐝

What do you all think about the idea of having a fully made terrarium made by me?

The good: Unlike the DIY kits we currently have on the site, these terrariums will come fully put together with optional add-ons like the branded base and led lights. The will also be fully preserved meaning now maintenance... How it arrives is how it will look FOR LIFE!

The catch: it will have a l higher turn around time to ship out unlike most kits now that ship out same day or next... and they will obviously cost a bit more to make up the time that will be required for me to prepare each one...

If you need more reason to grab one.. not only will you be one of few to have a unique art piece crafted by yours truly... "yours truly" requires an excessively high caloric diet to maintain such exquisite creativity!😏🌯

I'm really shocked that the fishing boat is taking the lead in my story polls so far..

Just out of curiosity... is it because it's a better model or do you think it's a really better fit for the scene??

I really had my expectations on the air boat for some reason. I guess because the scene I had in mind was the everglades with the duckweed and gator...

Either way it's fun to experiment with this stuff and either way I genuinely feel like your POV always make my projects better!

This TicTac Terrarium Inception was inspired by who was inspired by .designs

A few of you had asked me to do a tictac terrarium build after seeing terrarium designs work but I didn't really see a way to portray his original idea in my own way until I woke up this morning laughing about the inception idea..

Hopefully this looks like the city wave scene, it was a pretty good challenge trying to recreate buildings at this scale.

Living in Florida has given me a different type of appreciation for all for seasons since I've been stuck in summer for the past decade...

Given the choice, which season would you preferably be stuck in?

(Don't say summer.. I'm telling you.. you can't never wear nice dry clothes outside if you pick summer.. like ever.. and if you got long curly hair... ha!)

So lets say you wanna treat her on an all expense paid getaway retreat to somewhere off the grid... well I can't help you with that!

But I can send her one of these!! These terrarium kits are thoughtful, engaging and this particular set just became an overnight best seller!

Gone head and place that order real quick... don't be that person yo mama guilt tripping you later for not getting her one of those viral kits she saw on the internet!😏

I know.. I know.. its been a minute but I've come bearing gifts!! Like those kits I been promising for a while now...😅😅😅

Looks like the bantam crew has grown quite a bit since my last post.. im cj and its nice to see your faces... this is what mine looks like when I'm toilet typing 🏌🏾‍♂️

If you're wondering where I've been at and if everything's ok... I'm cool'n, just decided to take a moment to rework some of our current work flow, setup a physical location & do a bit of networking... boring yet necessary business stuff 😴 I didn't imagine it would take more than a few weeks lol

Well all the heavy lifting is done and I'm ready to show you all some of the new worlds and inhabitants Ive managed to find time in between things to work on!!!

These rock garden terrarium lamps turned out to make awesome night lights in my office...

They're called Tōrō lanterns and they are commonly found in Japan in one of two ways: as a paper lamp hanging from roofs (tsuri-dōrō) or as a platform lamp scattered around gardens or shrines (dai-dōrō).

I made little dai-dōrō lamps for my 4 inch rock garden terrarium. I went with a faux stone look for these so they looked like genuine ishi-dōrō (stone lanterns).
