My first review! I enjoy the "whole family" part of the reader's review. I really wanted to create something like that. Something that could be read to the entire family. When made into a movie watched by everyone like Star Wars was when I was kid. So much content out there is too disturbing or violent for kids, or just uninteresting to adults.

I'm working on a new project to document my knowledge and experiences connecting kids to nature and food -- focused on the 16 years I spent at the Children's Center Food Forest Garden. anyone ever had one of these loke sqaush? it is a gourd plant that has edible young fruits. supposed to be more resistant to bugs and problems. We ate this one in soup and it was quite good.

I can't believe we get to eat this. Pizza bread with bread, salsa as sauce, and from the garden, hoja santa, bbq berries (aka dwarf tamarillos), papalo, hardneck garlic (uncured), and Ozark pink tomato. Pizza for us is a vessel for garden goodies!
