We serve Brazoria County and surrounding areas! Safety and maintaining a low-stress environment for your pets is our top priority. The services we provide include grooming, training, day camp (doggy daycare), boarding, and transport to and from our location for boarding and day camp guests within 10 miles. That's why we offer a FREE community pet food pantry. Residents can stop by the shelter and pick up dog or cat food to keep your beloved friend happy and healthy at home.

URGENT SHORT TERM FOSTERS NEEDED WHILE OUR BUILDING IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION DUE TO STORM DAMAGES!⚠️

Rescued Pets Movement is in need of Houstonians willing to take home a rescue dog or cat during our upcoming clinic repairs. The construction to repair our facility from storm damages means we need to temporarily clear our clinic.

Construction cannot be completed in each area until every animal is out!!

This is a super short-term commitment. Pick up a cat from our boarding facility in The Heights on Monday, July 29th, and hold them until Thursday, August 1st. You can pick up a dog on Thursday, August 1st, and hold them until Monday, August 5th (or longer if you can!). We can provide necessary supplies if needed. You just open your home and provide the love!
*Please note that these dates are subject to change due to weather and construction delays!

Here's how to foster:
Step 1. Fill out our foster application at RescuedPetsMovement.org/foster
Step 2. Email us with the title CONSTRUCTION FOSTER, and we will get you matched up with the perfect pet for your family. For dogs, email [email protected]. For cats, email [email protected].
PS: All animals in our program are heading to their forever homes up north! So there is no risk that you will fall in love and “have” to adopt them. We find this helps when mentioning taking home a pet for a short time to significant others when you “already have too many animals”!
