Meet Kalie- A beautiful girl who has lived a life of abandonment alone on the streets. She was found living outside a store with her puppies. Caring for them and tryng to keep them warm. Someone finally did something and she ended up in a shelter. She waited for rescue and then we came along and said yes.
She is good with dogs, cats and all people. She just received heartworm treatment so looking for a foster or forever home to lay low! Please consider her- https://www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org/adoptables/kalie

Our new facility more than doubles the previous space we had to shelter our newest rescues, from about 1,800 square feet to now 5,000 square feet! Of all the new amenities, the most important is that we now have 13 cage-free suites to provide comfy, cozy beds for dogs in need - up from 5 at our previous facility.
11 generous donors have sponsored our dog suites. We still have 2 remaining. $2,000: provide a brand new Kuranda Chew-Proof bed, stainless steel elevated bowls attached to the walls, and repairs of the suite
These suites are a safe haven for shelter dogs. It gives them a safe spot when we don’t have a foster home available to take them in.
Each sponsorship will be recognized in our building with a creative plaque referencing the donor/sponsor. More info: https://www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org/fundraising

We are so thankful to have a facility that fits so many of our needs compared to starting from scratch in an empty building, but we have more improvements to make in order to make the facility truly our own.
Please consider helping us achieve this goal!

To help make our facility dreams into reality, we have a number of ways you can help with a generous donation to support our mission!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!
We see many discarded expectant dogs in shelters needing a safe space to deliver their puppies. Most are not lucky, and the shelter either aborts the puppies or delivers in a cold kennel alone. But they have no options. We currently have two in our care who are the lucky ones. Fawn (here) and Lydia, who is expected to deliver very soon. They both have temporary foster homes and caregivers (thanks to foster parents) and all the supplies needed to care for them (thanks to donors), and they will all receive proper medical care.
We urge more people to be open to fostering moms and puppies. Too many need help, and we can’t help them all. Sign up here- https://www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org/foster
A day in the life of Adoptable Mel 💫
One year in foster care, and what you're seeing is what you get! He is a great dog so he shouldn’t be so over-looked.
Mel enjoys most of his day on the couch, but he also loves the outdoors, a nylabone to chew on, and exploring the yard with occasional playtime with his friends. He is crate-trained, potty trained, medium energy for a young dog, and lovely with all people and kids. His adoption fee is waived, and we are hoping you consider giving him a loving home. Apply and let’s chat: https://www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org/adoptables/mel
You can also come out tomorrow to meet this sweet boy Mel at Petsmart on Barrington Rd in Schaumburg between 10:30-1pm!
After a wonderful evening last Saturday at A Fetching Formal we got back to work and have rescued almost 20 dogs this week! A variety of breeds, ages and sizes because our community comes to us for a variety of all! These 5 dogs are looking for foster homes.
Fostering is free and we hope you consider becoming a temporary stepping stone to a pup in need this Summer- https://www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org/foster
