I just recieved an email from one of our wonderful puppy homes. She is needing to rehome her male Border Collie. These are her words-
"I need to re-home Jaxson. This has been a very hard decision because we love him but he has just too much energy for us. We have 3 dogs (including Jaxson). He is bright, trains easily and is loving and sweet. But, he is also hyper and unable to control any excitement. With the help of a trainer, I have worked with both Ella and Jaxson. He learns quickly, knows commands; sit, wait, kennel, lay down and more but is totally unable to control his energy level. He needs so much more than I can give him. He really needs a home with lots of open space to run and play. He "talks" and is very endearing. He really has no fear and expects everyone will love him. He is good with other dogs. He has been occasionally boarded with Ella when we go out of town and does well with group play with other dogs.
Can you help me find him a loving home with a family that can provide what he needs. This is really hard and I feel like a failure but Jaxson needs more than I can provide for him."
She is a wonderful home but wants to do what is best for her boy. Can you help us find him a home that can help to stimulate his mind and keep him a little busier?

We just got back the cutest girl- she knows NOTHING, But she is smart, sweet, athletic, willing, and loves everyone she meets. She isn’t super interested in stock at present (but that may come…?) She would be the BEST buddy or potential agility prospect.
Coming up on 1 year old. Well built but petite. Prick eared, smooth coat. Tri color/split face.

We are SO excited for one more upcoming litter! This is a repeat breeding and a FANTASTIC cross. This breeding will produce cattle dogs, sheep dogs, trial dogs and everything in between. EXCELLENT dispositions/temperaments. Their deposit list is filling up quickly- so please contact us if you have any questions or interest!

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE......We will be expecting a litter between our MISR Jak and Rose! Due early September 2024.
We will be accepting a limited number of deposits on their upcoming litter- at this time we do have just a few male deposit spots available.
This should be a biddable, athletic, intelligent, and versatile cross. Both work cattle and sheep- on the ranch and in the arena. Excellent temperaments, good off switch, and style.

I know it was a couple weeks ago....BUT we are finally getting back to normal around the ranch after the Mountain States Stockdog Assoc 2024 National Finals. It was a FANTASTIC finals, but I could not be more proud of TEAM MISR! We had many puppies there competing- such an honor to watch them shine with their owners!
AND three of my favorite guys and their dogs had a consistent week of AMAZING runs!
MISR Jace made his Finals debut and we are super excited about this dogs future. He ended up the Res. Futurtiy Dog of the Year AND finished out 5th overall!
Rose was a force as usual- running on both sheep and cattle for both Sam AND Stockton in the Novice and Intermediate classes all week!
MISR Jack pulled through and took care of Sam like he always does!
Sage and Jewels were the Junior Handler team of the year AND the Adv Junior Handler National Champions!
So proud!
Way to go TEAM MILL IRON S RANCH!
