Sometimes a dog comes into my life and I am forever changed because of it. Moose was one of those dogs. He absolutely loves the company of people over dogs. He is the smartest dog I have ever worked with. He challenged me and taught me so much. He was with me for four years. He was a hard placement because of his strength and intelligence. Friends were convinced I would never let him go. But I knew he held a higher calling. About a month ago he was placed with a young man with epilepsy. He will alert him to an oncoming seizure and also press a button for help when needed. My heart is both full and empty as the selfish side of me misses him so but am beyond thrilled that he found his person. Be brave, be obedient, be a life saver, be a legend my sweet Moosie.
