Springfield Second Chance Community Veterinary Hospital

We wanted you to be the first to know that we've scheduled a special Saturday vaccine clinic for May 7th from 9am to noon. We hope this Saturday clinic will help pet owners who can't make our usual weekday clinic due to work schedules to get their pet up-to-date on important vaccines. As an added treat, pets registered for the clinic will receive a comfy new bed that was donated by BARK in partnership with GreaterGood Charities. If your pet is already up-to-date, an additional 100 beds will be available beginning at 11 am for pets and pet owners who stop by to say hi.

Vaccine clinic registration for May 7th will open at approximately 1pm on Monday, May 25th. We expect time slots to fill up fast so we encourage pet owners to sign up as early as possible.

Yes! we are posting this message again. We have been here in Western Mass since 1976. We are not a new group, we are established and we need help to provide more services to people and their animal family members that need assistance keeping them healthy and taken care of. Please contact us !!!
Concerned Citizens 4 Animals is in need of new volunteers. If you like to talk to people, we can use individuals to retrieve messages off our phone system and tabling events. We are no where as busy as we use to be, we are still here and we still assist needy families with low cost spay/neuter services, at times we assist with medical needs. To do this we need to have money and we have had a turn over of volunteers and we need individuals that have animal knowledge/ love animals and like to see them stay in their homes. Please respond by email or call 413-565-5383 and leave a message.

The pup in this picture is going for surgery next week. She had a bilateral TECA in 2017 and the past year she has had two abscesses in the right side of her little face. It has been decided they came from bacteria in her ear. This surgery is a revision to the TECA. Prayers are welcomed. 🙏💜
