Someone passed this onto us and we thought it was a great idea to share.
With the 4th of July right around the corner we tend to get several calls about dogs getting out, and owners frantically trying to find them. We ask that you make sure your dogs have their collars on, updated contact information on their licenses, or do something similar to the picture below !

We love our community fur babies and want to make sure they are safe! 🐾💕

A little about why we got into “doodles”.
My husband grew up with golden retrievers. Who doesn’t love a golden? They are the perfect family dog! Well, after adopting several, I learned how they love to chew. They will chew your back porch, the siding off your house or your tv remote. Whatever they can get!! And they aren’t the smartest breed in the world, but they are good, loyal pets. Not a mean bone in their body.
Fast forward a few years and we decided to adopt a goldendoodle from a family in Texas, many of you know her by “Piper”. She has been amazing since the day we brought her home. After driving to San Antonio Texas all day, I was ready to check into my hotel and go to bed! After getting to the counter to check in, I was informed they did not allow pets, which was the sole reason I had booked this hotel, because online it said that they did. So the lady at the desk felt bad for me and whispered, “Is there any way you can sneak her in, like inside a bag?” I said, well, she’s a big dog, I don’t think that I can. So she put me near a doorway that employees use and told me to hurry her in. I am thinking, oh no. This dog is going to bark,, and what if it uses the bathroom in the room or what if it chews something? But I was so tired I just brought her in. She never made a peep and was perfectly still. She has been the most well mannered pet I’ve ever had since. No excessive chewing, and she’s not too heavy or clumsy. She’s super smart! She has mothered quite a few puppies and she’s just the best mother ever. She is why we started raising goldendoodles. Quite a few of our mamas are related to her because we love her temperament so much that we kept a few of her puppies. They are all almost just as perfect as she is.

Theo is a past puppy that didn’t sell for whatever reason, and a good friend of mine got him when he was a little bit older.. but look at him now!! ❤️❤️❤️
I actually think she needed him more than he needed her 💓

“Amaryllis, balsam, pine, cedar, and holly are among the common holiday plants that can be dangerous and, in some cases, even poisonous to pets who eat them,” says Dr. Klein. Additional common seasonal plants dangerous to dogs include peace lily, calla lily, lily of the valley, autumn crocus, giant dracaena, and palm lily. “It’s important to note that all parts of most types of lilies are very toxic to cats. Homes with cats should never have lilies in them,” says Dr. Klein. “Often, they are missed in floral arrangements or beds.”

Poinsettias are mildly toxic to dogs but the dangers are hardly ever serious or fatal. There are more toxic holiday plants for dogs - here is a list.

These three ladies drove in from Fort Walton, Florida today to pick up their precious baby, sweet Faith! One is a past client of ours ❤️ They took extra time to snuggle a few of the puppies before leaving! I just wanted to say thank you for supporting our business 🐾
