Meet Stella! She is a 6 year old female Great Dane mix. She is roughly 80 lbs. and a super sweet, affectionate pup!
She is good with kids and has previously lived with smaller children (gentle around them). She loves other dogs (very gentle) and does great at the dog park. She will chase outside cats, but when the cats are inside, she is curious and gently tries to check them out. She hasn't been aggressive toward cats, so it would be good to test her with them.
Stella is housebroken, and for crating, she hasn't been trained BUT when her foster is away, she has not been destructive. She is a smart girl, so she takes to rules well and eager to please. You will always be greeted by an excited, sweet dog.
Unfortunately, she can be leery of new men, so we recommend taking it slow for her to get comfortable with new people and then she is happy go lucky once she adjusts! One of her favorite things is going for walks and smelling all the smells. She does like to walk all over, so it would be good to continue her leash training.

Zeus is a 1 year & 10-month-old black silky great Dane who loves companionship, whether itโs playing with his foster dog brother or just being near his foster parents. Zeus loves his dog toys and will prance around with them to show them off and entice his foster dog brother or parents to try and take them from him. Zeus is a loving companion, super soft, and well-behaved boy.
Zeus is extremely smart and food motivated, which has made training easy. Zeus is house trained, crate trained, dog door trained and does not destroy property. Although he is crate trained, he has not been in his crate for several months now, because of how excellent he does while left out of it.
Zeus has not been without companionship, as he came to the rescue having previously been with a litter mate. Since coming to his foster family, he has had constant companionship with his foster dog siblings, so itโs unclear how he would do if left totally alone. We feel that because of this, a home with another dog would be preferred. Zeus is great at meeting other dogs, and there have been no issues when greeting new dogs. Zeus has had limited interactions with children, but he has done absolutely fine when around kids. He welcomes any and all attention and does not know a stranger. However, like most Danes, he is unaware of his size and is a leaner.
Zeus does have an unidentified issue in his right leg, which we believe involves his right knee. The injury happened while he was with his previous owner and they did not disclose the injury, so the nature of it is unknown. This issue causes him to limp or occasionally lift up his leg. Say hello to Bleu! He is 4 years & 4 months old and quite the social butterfly! He enjoys playing outside with his toys, snuggling on the couch and being around all the humans, kids and adults approved.
When he is around children, he has done a good job with being very gentle. He does like walks, but he needs more training to not pull and not get distracted by other dogs or small animals. Heโs a gentle giant, and he just wants to be loved by people. Heโs a little skittish around new people, but once he gets to know you, he treats you like you are his best friend!
Bleu is house broken and crate trained. When you need to leave, Bleu will go into his crate and he may whine/cry for a bit, but after a while, he will settle down. He does like to sleep in his crate and hasnโt been destructive in it. Bleu does have some mobility issues going up and down stairs, so we recommend a single family home for him.
He is good with other female medium to large size dogs, but he can be aggressive toward male dogs, so we recommend only medium-large size female dogs for Bleu to have a friend. Unfortunately, Bleu is prey driven and will chase cats, so we recommend no cats. Bleu is a smart boy and has learned lay and sit on command. He would thrive in a home who continues his training especially working on him not counter surfing or getting in the trash - a mischievous guy!

โก๏ธ ๐๐๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ก๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ก: He does have HOD (hypertrophic osteodystrophy), which makes his gait a little odd, but it doesn't cause him any pain. Timber will need to be on joint supplements the rest of his life which is very easy and Timber loves them! He would do best in a home with minimal stairs; he is okay to do 2-3 steps, but he will not go upstairs or downstairs move than this amount.
Timber is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test and is heartworm negative. He is not neutered due to allowing him to grow more, and we will follow-up with
