Oakley’s field trip yesterday was to the horse barn !

Dog’s don’t generalize well so you have to practice good behavior in all different places until they start to generalize the rules.

He now has week 1 under his belt and is ready to go home for the weekend to practice with his owners and pack mates.

It’s week one and we’re already doing field trips! It was definitely challenging to keep him engaged with me with all the distractions but he tried!! All things considered, and it being day 2, he did great!

Today Kylo got to play with not one but two of his sisters! It was so fun to see how similar they all are and yet have their own unique characteristics and personalities!

Bailey says… “Lowe’s is a craaaaazy place.”

Field trips are a huge part of this nervous girls behavior overhaul. We are easing her into being around people of all shapes and sizes, strange noises, interesting looking objects etc.

I’m not sure any of us were ready for Lowe’s over the holidays! 😂 .

16 week old Bailey did fantastic keeping himself on “place” while his owner prepared his dinner! Very proud of what this little guy is already accomplishing!

H***h is a 4 year old cattle dog mix who was rescued about 8 months ago and has started some very territorial behaviors around his home: He is a typical “Velcro” dog with his human but to the point where he has become a liability when other people approach him.

Today we started laying out a foundation of training to shift that relationship from one where H***h has all the power, to one where his humans are back in the driver’s seat instead.

Relationship is everything. Once the relationship is a healthy one that is based on Trust, Respect, Cooperation, and having fun together, the training falls into place easily.

Congratulations to our AKC ⭐️ PUPPY GRADUATES! They all passed their tests with flying colors. 💫 We always joke that the hardest part is wearing the graduation cap at the end!!! 🤣 🧑‍🎓

KONA!!! I can’t tell you how awesome this is! Check out this confident lady walking her dog through Lowe’s. Would you guess that these two couldn’t walk down the street without this reactive girl exploding at every dog she saw!?? She would NEVER have dared to go to Lowe’s where she might see something and Lose…Her…Sh*t. This owner is confident. This dog is confident. They have their life back after two years of trying different trainers and being terrified to walk down the street. We are so stoked for this family!

Pack walk

Better late than never! Check out all the people and dogs that came out to support Annie for her Farewell Pack Walk in early May. All the handlers/dogs did amazing! Annie, we are all so grateful for you and all of your support over the years. Even though we don’t want you to go, we wish you and your family well on your next adventure in NH.
