Been pondering all day about how lucky we are to live in this great country full of men and women that have sacrificed so much so that we could have our freedoms. So much to be thankful for and a lot of reasons to have pride in this country we live in.

What about you?
The beautiful things about dogs and especially senior dogs is they teach you a lot about not taking any part of life for granted. Watching your dog go from a puppy to and adult then to a senior in a relatively short span of time really teaches you to love every moment with them, and also love every part of your own life. When you watch how fast they grow up and grow old it teaches you that our time here is limited and to enjoy all aspects of life because it goes quick. So many things dogs teach us over their short life span.
What is something your dog has taught you?
Dogs have helped me in a lot of different ways. One of the best things I have learned from dogs was learning to be consistently active and get exercise. Knowing I have dogs that depends on me to get out with them and get them exercise has helped me to live a healthier life.
What’s your favorite form of exercise with your dog?
It’s an incredible opportunity to watch your dog grow from a puppy to a dog and then from a dog to a senior dog. As my dogs have been getting older I have been learning a lot more about how to help keep them in the best shape possible to be able to enjoy my time here with them as much as possible. Luckily we have a great veterinarian who helps to keep Ranger and Griffey in the best shape possible.
Who all has a senior dog? If so, what are their ages? The oldest dog that tags us in a photo with their age and their favorite thing to do with their human will get a free bag of Liver Bites! Share with anyone that has a senior dog.

It’s crazy how fast time flies. This was a photos of our Golden Retriever Ranger 6 years ago. If anything this has taught me that life goes by fast and even faster for a dog. Its taught me to cherish every moment of life and always take the time to spend with your dogs because before you know it six years flies by. Thankfully, we’ve created a lot of memories.Here’s to another 6 years of even more memories.

Dogs are the best teachers of joy. The seemingly insignificant things in life still excite them. Whether that be a simple game of fetch. A walk around the block. Running through the sprinklers. Dogs remind us to not sweat the small things, but to stop and enjoy the simple things and to not take them for granted. They are incredible examples of living every moment to the fullest. They teach us to live in each moment and enjoy it to the fullest.
