Writing this post in hope it educates delivery drivers!

Do not post items through windows where you can clearly hear & see there are dogs!

In fact don’t post items through windows period .. unless it states on the delivery instructions to do so!

You do not know the content of what is in that parcel.

We are very lucky to not have chewers in this week & very lucky that this particular parcel didn’t contain anything harmful.

However had that parcel contained something toxic for instance an oxygen absorbing packet .. myself & other pet owners with windows open because it is very warm will be at risk because of someone else’s stupidity!

Introducing Kate 🤍
As I am very busy and there is only one of me I am struggling to accommodate to weekend and evening walks & visits. Recently having to let some of you down for these services. I sat down with my lovely Mum and she will be working alongside me to accommodate on the weekends & evenings. My mum is just as crazy about animals as I am (that’s where I’ve got it from!!). If you require weekend or evening services in the future please let me know and I’ll arrange a meet and greet for you and your furbaby to meet my Mum.

A little bit about Kate…
“ I have had a passion for animals my whole life, starting as a young girl walking local dogs for people, moving on to stud farms and kennel maid where I gained valuable experience training German shepherds to a high standard including dogs for the prison service. I have worked in the veterinary industry for many years and have successfully completed courses in animal behaviour. I have 6 dogs at home at the moment who are mostly rescues”

We are excited to be organising the dog show this year at Rixton With Glazebrook Carnival on Saturday 29th June 12 - 4pm, come on down and try and convince us that your dog is better than all the others!

The dog show will start at 1pm! Enter in one or more categories, we will be judging
- Prettiest Girl
- Handsome Boy
- Golden Oldie
- Cutest puppy
- Best Trick
- Waggiest tail
- Best in show ( 1st place from each category)

Cost per entry is £1.50 per dog per category

We will also have a stall selling treat boxes and treats, come and meet the team

Letting pets comfort their dying owners is a compassionate act that should be openly embraced, not hidden.

This woman snuck in a dog as a baby for her grandmother. I get that there are risks with other patients but there should be a way to make this work openly.

6 years ago today, I started the business M44 Animal.

5 years ago today, I qualified in animal management with a double distinction at St Helens College. I was the last one to start the course and first one to finish.

All while doing an evening grooming course at the same time as my animal management course, along with a 5 year old 👧🏻

I always knew from a young age that I wanted to work with animals, I was always told there was no money in it & to go into banking.

Today most the banks are shut & yet here we are still going; along with being 5 star rated by the council & voted top 3 in the UK for boarding in 2022 & 2023!

Most people that work with animals will tell you it’s not about the money, yes we have bills to pay however ‘choose a job you love & you’ll never feel like you’ve worked a day in your life’ 😘
