Our Story
"Whisker Oaks Persians" cattery has a small breeding program and is registered with the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA). We are a member of the "United Silver and Golden Fanciers, an International CFA club dedicated to silver and golden Persian and Exotic cats and are listed as one of the CFA Persian breeders on their web page. We love to show our kittens and adults at CFA cat shows. Our favorite show to attend is the one early in April, at the Waukesha Exposition Center. Our kittens are raised underfoot, love people, attention, and love. We focus on breeding chinchilla and shaded silver and golden Persians. At times we also have exotic kittens which are dilute blues and brown tabbies. Our goal is to produce "Sweet Open Expressions" on their face, with beautiful emerald green or aqua eyes, stocky bodies, great coats and wonderful loving personalities. All incoming Persians and exotics are DNA tested for PKD and are negative. We also test for FELV/FIV, and require all incoming felines to be negative for FELV/FIV before entering our home.
