As a full-time home-office worker, I spend a lot of time at my computer each day, so I started looking for ways to motivate myself to go out walking at lunch times and evenings. The company of a dog would be the ideal motivation and companionship, come rain or shine, but unfortunately my landlord will not let me keep pets. In 2011 I began to borrow dogs, and the service of Walk Along Dogz came int

o existence. Thanks to the support and encouragement of the dog owners I worked with, Walk Along Dogz became a registered and fully insured business in 2017! Walks are booked as a full hour for collection, walk and return (towel dry if required and feeding after the walk by arrangement). Please see my opening hours for available times. New dogs will start with a free, no obligation trial walk. xx Gina

-Gina grew up in South Africa where she owned, walked and trained her own dogs since she can remember, until leaving for the UK. Her own pets included Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Staffy x, Poodles and Chihuahuas. As with most South African kids, she also grew up surrounded by Alsatians and Rottweilers, so is comfortable with any breed.
