Meet Jenna....

After doing some night fishing with my boys, we stopped a gas station on the way home. We saw this little girl and tried to get her with a net. She ripped a huge hole through it....

I went back last night with my trap, and got her right away. She was waiting for me right at the fence. I thought she was feral, but it turns out she is just the sweetest. So she will be easy to find a home for!

Which means only one thing.... PEOPLE SUCK! She was dumped somewhere and ended up at the gas station. She had a huge tick on her back I removed, gave her a dose of revolution plus and she is decompressing secluded from my brood until I can get her tested.

UPDATE, RESCUE HAS BEEN FOUND AND THEY WILL ALL BE IN GOOD, TRUSTED HANDS!

CLEVELAND RESCUE FRIENDS:

I had a friend reach out to me. She works at a factory. They noticed a mama and some kittens. Her boss said that if they were caught, he would "throw them over the fence".

So she caught them by hand and called me. I'm going to try to get her a trap to see if she can catch the mama for at least TNR if not friendly, but does anyone have room to take these cuties into rescue?

Please call me ASAP so we can figure something out. Does anyone have any room to foster these babies and work on some light socializing?

How absolutely sweet this girl is... a real purr machine and if she thinks you shouldn't stop petting her and you do... she does the sweetest thing and gently grabs your hand with her paws.

Mama ginger is available for adoption. She would do best as an only kitty... but we have been working on socializing. She's not the biggest fan, but I did have one of my kitties sleep in the same bed with us last night and there wasn't a fight the whole night....

Little Jack was the Uno MVP tonight. He plopped down right in the middle of our game. He's quite the card shark!

Jack and his brother Binx would make a great addition to a home with kids, cats or dogs. I have a 90 pound dog and they seem unfazed by her ebbed when she gives them baths.

These two boys would love to be adopted together. Jack (the orange tabby) and Binx (the panther) are litter mates and were trapped out in Hinkley on Halloween. Maybe about 10-12 weeks old. They were treated for fleas, dewormed and I will get them fixed, vaccinated and tested for fiv/felv as well. They are both very playful and love being together. They are tiny purr monsters that purr on contact. Both boys have healthy appetites for wet and dry food.

Momma Ginger is very friendly and is a purr machine. She would do best as an only kitty. She is not a fan of other cats or my pup, but that could be because she's in mommy protection mode with her babies.

Based on their level of friendliness from the time I trapped them, I would say they all have had human contact. Mom was MOST DEFINITELY an indoor kitty. And the baby boys were almost instantly friendly as if they were born inside, had contact with people, then dumped.

How fitting is it that I caught an orange and a black kitten on Halloween? Meet Jack and Binx, both males that were trapped in Hinkley tonight.

I have their mom (Ginger) as well in a trap. Is anyone available to transport to the APL or pet fix tomorrow morning and pick up in the afternoon? I will have cash to pay for the service, but I work tomorrow.

I haven't been doing much rescue lately, and that's for a lot of reasons.

Living in my own now, having to pay all my own bills I honestly can't afford to. I can't intake because I can't afford to get stuck with more cats and nobody ever holds up their end to take then back.

Another reason is for my mental health. I have been riddled with anxiety so bad I don't want to leave the house.

But today, in a miracle I caught 5 out of 5 cats that I needed. 3 kittens up top and then two pregnant females, one being their mama and one from two litters ago.

Now there are probably 10+ more cats that need TNRed at this house, but we will get that done in time.

The kittens are off to another rescue to be socialized, fixed, vaccinated and afford out to living homes. The females will be going to be fixed, vaccinated and returned back to where they can live their lives out baby free.

I realize how stressful trapping is, but I do miss it. I feel so proud for the first time in a long time.

Kitten season is here... started my day by catching these beauties in a shed out in Medina.

They went off to Kitten Crazy which is another great rescue who does AMAZING work. I've teamed up with them a few times and they have helped me out with intakes.

I'm working with the feeder to get the few adults on the property TNRed so there will be no more kitties!

I happen to have my fishing poles in my van and he let me do a few casts and I got this bass. It was a very exciting morning.
