🎄🌺 **Poinsettias & Pets: What You Need to Know** 🌺🎄

As we deck the halls for the holidays, it's important to remember that some festive plants can pose a danger to our furry friends. While poinsettias are a popular holiday decoration, they can be toxic to pets if ingested.

🔴 **What Happens if My Pet Eats Poinsettias?**

Poinsettias contain a milky, white sap that can irritate a pet's mouth, stomach, and digestive system. Symptoms may include:
- Drooling
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Upset stomach

However, don’t panic! While poinsettias are not usually fatal, they can cause discomfort and illness in pets. In general, pets are more likely to experience mild symptoms, but it’s best to keep these plants out of their reach.

🐾 **Pet Safety Tips:**
- Place poinsettias in areas that are inaccessible to pets.
- If your pet shows signs of illness after eating a poinsettia, contact your vet immediately.
- Consider non-toxic holiday plants like Christmas cactus or amaryllis as safer alternatives.

It’s our 11th Annual Office Outing!

For 11 (I think) years Joy has tried to drop me, Jesslon, off to join the circus but I keep following her back home. 🤓

It’s a work tradition we love! Come find us at the Shrine Circus today in Chamberlain we are hitting the 4:30 show! Get your picture taken with Joy, she isn’t the main attraction but she loves pictures!
